I’ll be happy to tell you who is hosting my blog, if you wondering or something. In fact, it is listed on my blog’s side bar. (left side.) I figured someone would have figured that out. Jeez, I guess my critics are not very bright. 🙄
Always know this; I am always watching and yes, I watch my logs, like a Hawk. I see any funny business; and the feds will be notified. Just remember, cyber-stalking is a federal crime, as is hacking a website — especially, if you happen to be employed by the federal Government.
Just reminding those that should be reminded of that; they know who they are.
Well, it has begun; fallout from my standing up for myself has begun to happen. I have been delinked by some of said party’s friends. Which is fine, I would rather be clear on where I stand and lose a few fair weather “friends” and know that I am standing on principle, than to have their friendship and know my name was being used to hurt others.
I shall carry on here, doing what I was before. Traffic is not my concern really, it never was. Quality and integrity before measure and monetary, I always say.
Just a little note of FYI: Earlier today someone left a comment objecting to some ads that displayed when he viewed my blog. He was responding to either this posting or this one, or this one; I forget which.
Anyway, the ad at the top of my blog and in the left sidebar at the top; is controlled by Google’s AdSense. They usually selected by keywords and by cookies that it takes from your computer. I can block ads by URL, which I will, if you see an offensive ad and you think I should know about it; click the ad and get me the URL of site and I will add it to my block filter.
I’m all for capitalism and such; but I am also for keeping this blog a place where everyone can come without having to worrying about being offended by an Internet Ad.
Also too, on the subject of comments; that person that I mentioned? I ended up banning him. I will explain this —I love comments, I love discussion; but I have zero tolerance for people who come to a blog for the sole purpose of being an idiot troll. You come here and insult me and act like an ass? I’m not only going to ban your butt from commenting, I’m going to ban you from even viewing my blog. Why? Because I can. Viewing and participating on this blog is a privilege, and not a right. You louse up around here; and you’ll shown the door — period, end of story. IP block is a beautiful thing and I will use it, if need be.
I was looking at my categories on the blog here, when I was doing my last posting. I had Technology spelled “Techology”

…and I couldn’t change it for some reason. (Bug in software?!?!)
Anyhow, it’s changed. I had to delete old category and add new one. (Which is a PITA, because I had to orphan some posts. Grrrr. :mad:)
I cannot sleep; so I thought I would mention this. I have severed all ties that I did have with Alexandria, which is a blog that I cross-posted to at times.
Without getting into the ugly of it all. I complained to the owner about an undesirable person there and he pointedly told me, if I didn’t like it, I could just not come back. So, I shall not.
What bothers me is, the owner had the stones to actually call me a racist and a anti-Semite; on top of that, he blocked my IP address from even viewing the blog. Something he denies. Well, here is the proof:
So, Mr. Stuart; Never call someone a liar, when they can prove that you did something.

This morning at 8:00 A.M. there was some planned downtime. Apparently one of the hard drives that power the server that my account and everyone else that is on this server; decided that it was ready for retirement. In other words, it was going bad. So, My Host, which is, HostMist; decided to move me to a different server. So, as a result, I was down for about 30 minutes, while the technical folks moved me off of that machine and onto another one.
The sad reality is that there is no such thing as a perfect server. Selling points and B.S. aside, as long as there is physical hardware involved with hosting websites, blogs, forums and the like; something, somewhere is going fail sometime.
I would like to commend HostMist and his upstream provider for getting things back up as quick as they did. Hopefully, this will be the last of the downtime.
I thought I would let everyone know that I am going to be taking the weekend off. I will not lie to you all; I am feeling a bit glum right now. As I mentioned before, I thought I was getting a job. Well, that really did not pan out. My cousin from my Father’s side of the family got a job working for a uniform company. A few days back my cousin came over and really made it clear that if someone called from that company, that someone here at the house should answer the phone. Well, I took that as if I were going to get a phone call to come in for an interview or something. Anyhow, yesterday, I got word that the company really was not hiring anyone. It is not that I do not appreciate my cousin looking out for me, it is just that I have been out of work for so long, that I actually was a bit excited at the prospect of going back to work; only to have the rug yanked out from under me. It does tend to get a bit depressing. I am not blaming my cousin, he meant well. I blame the stupid economy.
Another thing that has me feeling a bit blue is the fact that my so-called “Small Business” is not getting any kind of business at all. It is because of the fact that I just cannot afford the cost of a license for a piece of software that handles the web site, billing, and automation of running a shared hosting business. The license is fifteen dollars a month directly from the software manufacture, or I can get it for twelve dollars and some change a month from a third party who buys the licenses in bulk. Either way, that comes to around one hundred and eighty dollars a year — Which, now, I just do not have to invest in a small business. Not to mention the costs of getting my LLC License and Tax License all set up. I have all those costs itemized over on my Amazon Wish List, in case anyone is interested in helping me out.
I will also make something abundantly clear; I do not blame anyone, but my own self for getting into this situation. I am the idiot, who had the accident back in 2004, which screwed me from ever being hired by another trucking company. I am the idiot who quit the job back in 2005, because it was making me physically sick and did not bother to find another job quickly. I did it, not anyone else. I am the idiot who sat around here and blogged my rear end off from 2006 until now and does not have a damned thing to show for it. It was I, nobody else. I am the one who has written things in the past that were taken out of context and construed as anti-Semitic and/or racist. I did it — no one else. A real man takes responsibility for his mistakes, cowards try to shift blame on others; and I am not a damned coward.
So, there you have it. That is what is happening in my life and it is enough to make a man just want to quit. However, I am not going to quit —- I am, however, going to take a break for the weekend.

I thought I had mentioned this here, but I guess not.
I thought I might be getting a job. But, I guess it turns out the place is not hiring at the moment. It was supposed to be a driver position, full time, benefits, union backing — the whole bit.
But, I guess like everyone else; the company is watching its bottom line.
So, it’s back to the drawing board for me.
