HotAir.com is reporting that the shooter is in custody and that there was some sort of a warning on twitter last night. UrbanGrounds says that students and teachers being armed would stop this sort of thing. I agree on the teachers; but I really do not think that junior high students should be armed. High School seniors, maybe. Junior High students? No Way.
I think that it is just a reflection on society really. As long as there are jocks, as long as there are outcasts, stuff like this shooting will take place. I also see here that the shooter was targeting people. This is not a big shock to me, this kid was obviously pissed at some people and was out for revenge. Now he will be tried as an adult and spend the rest of his life in jail.
A life wasted and a life lost; and many lives ruined and scarred; over a bunch of high schooler stupidity. What a waste. đ
Update: Before any idiot liberals come by here and try to say that I am a hypocrite for writing this here. I will say this; there is a big difference between oppressive Government pushing someone to do something like this and some kid being pushed by other kids to do something like this. It is a totally different situation and if liberals don’t get that, then they should not be writing on a blog, much less driving a car. đĄ

NEWARK â Bobby Brown, the ex-husband of Whitney Houston, left the New Hope Baptist Church just minutes before the funeral was to begin.
According to a person familiar with the situation, Brown brought an entourage of nine people with him to the Newark church and wanted them to sit with them in the family section.
“They were asked to leave,” the person said, referring to the entourage. Brown was not asked to leave, but “he left with the other people,” according to the person, who was not at liberty to discuss the situation publicly.
Brown appeared visibly upset as he left the church and got into a black Cadillac SUV.
You know, there are just some moments when you just have to tell it like it is. This here is one of them moments. Before I nuke this overrated piece of trash, named Bobby Brown, verbally into the next century, let me say this — Yes; I watched that funeral of Whitney Houstonâs. I watched the entire service from beginning, until the incredibly sad ending, when Whitneyâs mother was walking behind the casket of her own daughter, wailing and weeping for her daughter who was taken from her. Even I, the tough as nails type was nearly to tears. The reason is that I had to watch a woman, who is a grandma, having to bury her daughter.  Children are support to bury their parents, not the other way around.
The question I have for Mr. Brown is this; why in the name of the Almighty God would he honestly need NINE people to follow him into a funeral of his ex-wife? Mr. Brown, you sir are a classless punk. Mr. Brown did it ever; at any time occur to you, that you did not need all those people to go into the Church with you? However, no, you just had to bring along your gang of friends along with you. To, as always, make a show of yourself. You sir, are a dirty slime ball piece of human excrement. YOU are the reason why Whitney Houston is dead in the first place! YOU are the reason that Whitney Houston was a drug-addicted junkie who could not keep herself straight long enough to record any record.  Whitney Houston did those drugs to please YOU! To show just how much you appreciated her doing that, what did you do? You beat her; you mistreated her and generally acted like an ungodly buffoon.  So much, in fact, that she ended up having to divorce your sorry self finally.
Then, to add insult to injury after the woman died from the drugs that YOU got her started on, YOU have the god-damned nerve to show up at her funeral and act like a spoiled punk ass brat and when you did not get your way, you leave in a huff! There happens to be a word that some people like to use to describe people like yourself, and it Begins with an N and ends with an R!  You should be giving thanks to the almighty God in Heaven that the Huston family has not taken a contract out on your life. I am almost certain that her brothers would like to do this to you. I know I would, if I were them!
In closing, allow me to say this; Bobby Brown, grow up. Get on with your pathetic life and leave the Houston family alone. They have suffered enough and stay away from your daughter, she has already lost her Mother thanks to you, and you want to kill the daughter too? I mean, seriously.  Also too, let me say this; let this be a lesson to Christian young women everywhere — stay away from devilish men, like Bobby Brown. If you have been raised in Church, like Whitney, find you a man in the Church and stay there! Do not be messing around with some fool in the world; because this right here is where you will end up, one way, or another — in the graveyard.
RAEFORD â A preschooler at West Hoke Elementary School ate three chicken nuggets for lunch Jan. 30 because a state employee told her the lunch her mother packed was not nutritious.
The girlâs turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, potato chips, and apple juice did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, according to the interpretation of the agent who was inspecting all lunch boxes in her More at Four classroom that day.
The Division of Child Development and Early Education at the Department of Health and Human Services requires all lunches served in pre-kindergarten programs â including in-home day care centers â to meet USDA guidelines. That means lunches must consist of one serving of meat, one serving of milk, one serving of grain, and two servings of fruit or vegetables, even if the lunches are brought from home.
When home-packed lunches do not include all of the required items, child care providers must supplement them with the missing ones.
The girlâs mother â who said she wishes to remain anonymous to protect her daughter from retaliation â said she received a note from the school stating that students who did not bring a âhealthy lunchâ would be offered the missing portions, which could result in a fee from the cafeteria, in her case $1.25.
âI don’t feel that I should pay for a cafeteria lunch when I provide lunch for her from home,â the mother wrote in a complaint to her state representative, Republican G.L. Pridgen of Robeson County.

Amen to that; and it is true, had this been a song mocking the religion of Islam. This young woman would be either in hiding wishing she was dead or would be dead. It is too bad that Bill Donahue, who did issue a statement about the performance, which I feel was totally inadequate for the scope of mockery here — did not issue a fatwa against this woman. I mean, it should have read something to the effect of, “The Catholic League will pay someone 1 million dollars, if someone will take this little black mocker of God out.” I believe it would have caused an uproar, but it would have gotten her and her managements attention.
A few days ago, Whitney Houston died of unknown causes. At the moment I found out, I thought, “How unfair.” For all Whitney’s problems and personal issues; she was still a wonderful talent that had so much more to give to her fans. Such is not the case with this idiot mocker of the Faith. So, seeing that I am a controversial blogger; I will say this — Here is hoping that this little classless black hoe meets the same fate as Whitney Houston and I mean very quickly. Anyone who mocks religion, does not deserve the breath the they keep in the lungs. This was not art; this was open mockery of Roman Catholicism, The Church, and Christianity in General.
Again, had this been a song about Islam and its repressive Religion, she would be in hiding; but, because it is a mockery of the Christian faith, The “LA CROWD” was fine with it. This tells you how far that the music industry, Hollywood and the L.A. Scene has fallen in the last 50 years. This wasn’t cool, this wasn’t ironic, this wasn’t funny, this wasn’t hip; this was a disgraceful attack on God, organized Religion in general, the Church as a concept, Christianity and the Roman Catholic Church. Because of this; I found Mr. Donahue’s statement a bit lacking. Could it be that Bill Donahue has lost his edge? I sure haven’t, nor will I ever.

I title this with a rather short headline, because frankly I cannot think of anything to put in there, besides the womanâs name. It was Indira Gandhi, who served as the third Prime Minister of India, who said the following, âForgiveness is a virtue of the brave.â It takes a great deal of bravery to forgive someone who has wronged you. I could write about that for hours on end. If I had a dollar for everyone who has ever wronged me, I could live a very comfortable life as a very wealthy man. Unfortunately, I have more forgiveness than I have money. Funny how that works, is it not?
The dunder head twins
I noticed a rather odd thing happening on this new blog with the stats earlier today, for some odd reason they kept going up. I check and sure enough, a familiar name was back in the headlines —Jennifer Petkov. I let out a rather audible groan and went to look at the stats for the old blog of mine and sure enough, the hits were climbing quicker than the unemployment rate in Detroit. I noticed Jennifer Petkovâs name in the search results. I sighed and thought, âWhat has that crazy woman done this time?â I opened a browser tab, did a search, and saw that Mrs. Petkov and her overgrown boyfriend or husband, (not sure whichâŚ) was going to be on Dr. Phil’s show. “Oh great, give the little attention whore more than she really deserves,â I muttered to myself in a rather rude sounding tone, which was even bad for me. I give the little bleached blonde bimbo a year, she will be doing porn flicks, or nudie spreads in playboy. Yeah, I said that Jennifer, and I am damned proud of it. I would just love to see her to try suing me for insulting her.

Anyhow, I watched the show. I have conflicted feelings about it. I did not like how the show was biased against Jennifer Petkov. I know what she did was horrible, but I believe everyone should be fairly represented in the media, and she was denied that. Further, I think her lawyers might have given her some bad advice in letting her do the show. What struck me as being very odd; is how Jennifer Petkov at first, admitted to doing some stuff, then sort of being sorry for everything. I believe she does not want to implicate herself even more than she already has. Furthermore, I did not like how Dr. Phil just took the accusations of Rebecca Rose at face value — for all we know, Rose herself could have put those postings on Facebook and blamed Jennifer for it. Unless we have some sort verifiable proof from Facebook, such as an IP address that belongs to Jennifer Petkov, then the things, outside of those photo shops could have been done by someone else, including Mrs. Rose herself. I wonder if Petkovâs lawyer bothered to find that out at all.

Now before I go any further, something needs to be said. This entire damned thing is not about the two broads who were friends and had some sort of dirty tampon fight. What this truly is about; is Kathleen Edward. A little angel is gone, to be with her Mother and her grandfather. The actions of Jennifer Petkov were reprehensible, there is no dispute to that; however, in our reporting of those actions, we must not give this idiotic bimbo of a woman any more attention than she truly deserves.
Up above I wrote a quote that read, âForgiveness is a virtue of the brave.â The person that exemplifies that fact is Kathleen Edwardâs father, Robert Edward. On Dr. Philâs show, Robert Edward expressed a desire to forgive Jennifer Petkov, because Kathleen would have wanted that, and because of that, he was done with the issue. I have to commend the man for that, because it takes a great deal of courage and strength to do something like this.
I hope that this is the last time I will ever have to write about this awful subject. I was not that happy to become involved with it; however, because I am from the area, I feel the need to write about it. The main reason is just that it makes everyone from this area, to those outside of the area — look like crazy people. I believe there are some that honestly believe that Michigan is a crazy State filled with crazy people. Outside of the occasional stray, I can proudly state that we are saner that some might think. However, let me state that sometimes sanity is so overrated.
In closing: I hope that I was able to add a bit of humor to a rather dark, depressing subject. I hope that we can put this idiotic dirty tampon fight between Jennifer Petkov and Rebecca Rose to rest finally and that little Kathleen will finally be able to rest in peace. I hope both families move on and I hope everyone else moves on and this rather sad story is remanded to the dustbin of history. Lastly, I hope that Jennifer Petkov has learned her lesson and never logs on to Facebook again, at least not with hatred in her heart towards anyone. Because as she has found out here in the last few years; that can be quite an unprofitable venture.

I really do not like to get on this new blog and get all preachy, because this really is not what I would call a “Christian” blog. It is a political commentary blog. I do want to start a “Christian” Blog eventually. However, I will say the following:
A Nation that turns it’s back on the Christian morality of it’s founding, in favor of the liberal/progressive mentality of “If it feels good, do it!” —- begats stuff like the above. 60 years ago in this Country, the above would not be tolerated and that magazine would have been run out of business by outraged Americans. I believe that Christians, of all stripes and divisions can agree, that putting a 17 year old girl on the cover of an qusi-adult magazine, is just downright immoral.
