SANAA (Reuters) – A Yemeni air raid may have killed the top two leaders of al Qaeda’s regional branch on Thursday, and an American Muslim preacher linked to the man who shot dead 13 people at a U.S. army base may also have died, a Yemeni security official said.
Nasser al-Wahayshi, the Yemeni leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and his Saudi deputy, Saeed al-Shehri, were believed to be among 30 militants killed in the dawn operation in the eastern province of Shabwa, said the official, who asked not to be identified.
U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki may also have died in the air strike which targeted a meeting of militants planning attacks on Yemeni and foreign oil and economic targets, he said.
If all the deaths are confirmed, the air strike would appear to have struck a severe blow against AQAP, seen as the most dangerous regional offshoot of Osama bin Laden’s network.
“Anwar al-Awlaki is suspected to be dead,” the official said of the cleric who was on the run in Yemen, where he was on the government’s most-wanted list of terrorist suspects.
According to U.S. officials, the U.S. army psychiatrist who ran amok at the Fort Hood army base in Texas on November 5 had contacts with Awlaki.
The Yemeni official said one leading figure in AQAP, Mohammed Saleh Omair, was confirmed dead in Thursday’s raid.
The United States cooperates closely with Yemen in combating al Qaeda militancy. Pentagon officials were not immediately available to comment on any U.S. involvement in the raid.
The Yemeni official mentioned only one air strike, which a government website said had taken place at 5 a.m., but Al Arabiya television reported four raids.
Resurgent al Qaeda attacks have stirred fears that worsening instability in Yemen, an impoverished country struggling with multiple security threats, might enable militants to launch renewed attacks in neighboring oil superpower Saudi Arabia.
Al Qaeda’s wing in Yemen, where Osama bin Laden’s father was born, announced in January it had changed its name to al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula — in an apparent attempt to revive the group in Saudi Arabia, where a tough counter-terrorism drive had halted the group’s three-year armed campaign in 2006.
Wahayshi, the new group’s Yemeni leader, threatened attacks against Westerners in the oil-exporting region. AQIP has also called for the overthrow of the U.S.-allied Saudi royal family.

1. The Sect:
A Christian, by name, sect or party of evil influence in early Christianity, especially in the 7 churches of Asia. The Nicolaitans disobeyed the command issued to the Gentile churches, by the apostolic council held at Jerusalem in 49-50 AD, that they should refrain from the eating of “things sacrificed to idols” (Acts 15:29).

4. Nicolaitan the Origin of the Name:
The Pagan Nicolaitan cult comes from the name of the false god they worshiped Nicolas (conqueror of the people) it is the Greek name for the Hebrew name Balsam (“destroyer of the people,” bela’ ‘am); as we find both the Hebrew and Greek names refer to the same false god. Other notable names for this false god are Abaddon, Apollyon; Satan, and Devil. Nicolas is a specific symbolical name given to this false god to represent his role as the god of holidays or feasting and festivals. A Hebrew interpretation of the root meaning of the name is nikola, meaning “let us eat”. Nicolas introduced a false freedom into the Christian Church, i.e. licentiousness (Lacking or ignoring moral discipline. Having no regard for the laws)
Such seducers are described as followers of Balsam or Balaam (“the son of Bosor”, “son of carnality”: bosor means “flesh”). They persuade many Christians to partake in pagan holidays. Many even indulge in “eating idol meats,”; some even join in the “fornication” of the holidays, they do and teach these things as permitted by Christ’s “law of grace”. The Nicolaitans are in part responsible (together with the Catholic Church) for “Christianity’s” acceptance of Christmas, Easter, Halloween and other unbiblical practices. More importantly, Nicolaitanism, representative of a much broader philosophy, can be blamed for the organized and systematic removal of God’s laws as a central pillar of the Christian way of life. Replaced by a “law of grace” which teaches to not bother following or even learning God’s law as they no longer apply.
5. St Nicolas: the Origin of the Christmas Holiday
The corrupt Catholic Church (the Mystery Babylon, the Great Whore – not covered in this email but Biblically true) in a attempt at conquering the world’s religions and bring about a world religion, as it does with all false gods and holidays of the pagans around the world, merged the pagan rituals with their church. They selected a person from their church with the name Nicolas and made him a saint. Creating St. Nicolas, allowing pagans to have their holiday for the false god Nicolas, only now people would start calling him St. Nicolas. Further they moved the day from the Winter Solstice (the 21st or 22nd) to the 24th, to appease those pagans who refused to merge the holidays, and to prevent offending those Christians who were aware of the pagan Winter Solstice Holiday by simple saying it was a different holiday on a different day. Then to make it appear Christian in origin they announced it was the birthday of Jesus (who was clearly not born in December according to the Bible, but his birthday is obscure enough that only those who studied the bible would know this.)

As we approach the celebration of Christ’s birth, I am reminded of the wordsof John Quincy Adams. On July 4, 1837, he spoke these words:

Adams was exactly right: America’s birth is directly linked to the birth of our Savior. In fact, the United States of America is the only nation established by Christian people, upon Biblical principles, and dedicated to the purpose of religious liberty. This truth is easily observed within America’s earliest history.

Contrary to what people like, Rachel Maddow might think; the JBS is not what the liberals and some Conservatives like to think that it is. This was done on the bus so all could hear.

They know what a country really is; it is its land and resources. As long as we are here, we’re in their way.
I am stunned at the stupidity of our leaders. Either they go to war in a place like Kosovo and learn nothing about it and why it became the way it did, or they are biding their time until full scale civil war breaks out in the USA, so martial law can be enforced and their power grows exponentially.
Personally, I think the latter will be the case.

It brings me great sadness to have to write this news story. Nevertheless, it has happened and it is news. It appears the one of founding fathers of television evangelism has died. Oral Roberts has passed away at age 91.
Charismatic Christian leader Dr. Oral Roberts died Tuesday at the age of 91 after slipping and falling in his house over the weekend.
After the fall on Saturday, Roberts was transported to a local hospital in Newport Beach, Calif., where he was treated for broken bones and a “slight case of pneumonia,” according to a report by the ministry on Monday.
Roberts’ PR agency, A. Larry Ross Communications, confirmed the next day that Roberts died Tuesday due to complications from pneumonia and that arrangements for a public memorial service in Tulsa, Okla., are pending and will be announced soon.
“There will be a private family internment,” the agency added.
In a public announcement by the president of Oral Roberts University, which Roberts founded in 1963, Dr. Mark Rutland informed the ORU family that Roberts passed away Tuesday afternoon and asked everyone to join him in prayer for the Roberts family.
“Chancellor Roberts was one of the brilliant spiritual lights of the 20th century and a giant of the Christian faith,” commented Rutland, who was installed earlier this year as ORU’s third president. “At the core of his legacy is a great university that bears his name. Like millions worldwide, I am mourning his passing and am grateful for his visionary life and contributions.”
As many of you know, who this blog regularly; I was for 21 years of my Christian walk, a Pentecostal Christian. I left the Pentecostal movement for good in 2004, due to some of my issue with where they movement was headed as a whole. I can honestly tell you, that I know in my heart that Oral Roberts believed what he preached. Unlike some of my fellow bloggers on the left… and the right; I will not sit here and harp on Pastor Roberts’ failures — after all, he was a moral man and they do fail once and a while. You ask me how I know that Pastor Roberts was sincere. I will tell you, better yet, I will just show you:

Now does this mean that I agree with his belief system? No, it does not. I concluded that the Pentecostal doctrine of the sign gifts being for today as being highly flawed. This was no easy task; it took many hours of study, soul searching and prayer to arrive there. Nevertheless, I would highly remiss if I did not point out the fact that Oral Roberts was, in fact, a minister who is commonly referred to as the ‘Old Line’ Pentecostals. Unlike the modern contemporaries of Roberts, Roberts shunned the title of “Faith Healer”, saying, “God heals — I don’t.” That to me says a library full about his personal character.
I wish to extend my personal heartfelt sympathies to the Roberts family during this most sad time of loss.

I totally agree; something or someone at this school, made a rather bone-headed judgment call.

Hickman and his fellow soldiers, I’m afraid it doesn’t counter anything. The U.S. military unjustly invaded and still occupies Iraq. This has directly and indirectly resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. It doesn’t matter how many Iraqi children are helped by the U.S. military. There is nothing these benevolent soldiers can do to make up for what the U.S. military has done to Iraq.
Mr. Vance’s inability to write a sentence with proper grammar structure aside, this is nothing more than a leftist slander against our United States Armed Forces. It is in fact true that our Armed Forces did invade the Country of Iraq. They did so BY ORDER OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, GEORGE W. BUSH. In other words, these fine brave young men and women were just doing their jobs and following orders; as one is supposed to do when in the Armed Forces. Not that Laurence Vance would know anything about serving our Country, he is too busy peddling his stupid religious books, and books that slander other Presidents —like FDR. Silly books that float the conspiracy theory that FDR purposefully allowed the ships to be attacked at Pearl Harbor and other such stupidity — Which is quite typical of the idiotic libertarian left and their idiotic twins the Paleo-Conservatives.

When Lew Rockwell and Laurence Vance insult the United States Armed Forces, they are insulting my family, and that my friends, I take very seriously. My family who spilled blood on foreign soil, just so these two jackasses can run a blog, which is for the sole purpose of insulting our United States Military. I am for the idea of freedom of speech and I would not dare try to stop these two thugs from speaking their mind. Nevertheless, I will counter their idiotic accusations and general stupid slanders against our Armed Forces, no matter the cost and no matter how many people e-mail me and try to intimidate me into stopping. I will not stop, ever.
I am, in essence drawing the line in the sand here and saying, “This will NOT stand!” I will not allow two leftist thugs to slander our United States Armed Forces and get away with it unanswered. The American Military is treasure to America and I will not let it be slandered. Call me a “Chickenhawk,” call me whatever you want, but I will NOT allow this to happen unchallenged. Because those brave and woman out of the front lines deserve better than this and if I have to do it alone, I will.
