Just some housekeeping for my readers.

I had this brilliant idea of bringing on some new ads on here, so that I could have another revenue stream. So, I checked out this company called clicksor. Anyhow, the first I noticed is that there were full-page ads and pop-under ads; which I am no fan of at all. Then, I noticed that I had to manually disable them in the code. Which really had me ready to punch the laptop. I was able to do it though.

Anyhow, even after all that, the silly ads were STILL causing my virus software to go off and tell me that Malware was trying to attack my browser. Anyhow, When it comes to that sort of stuff; that being viruses, malware and such, I don’t take any chances. I got burned once with a virus; and ever since then I have been hyper careful about that stuff.

So, the extra ad at the top and the one at the bottom on the single post page are both history. I like money, but not at the cost of possibly planting malware on someone’s machine or laptop. Including mine! 😯

Now, the ad at the top, in the right sidebar is from another company and it works fine. Same goes with the amazon bar at the top.

Just thought I would tell everyone what the heck was going on around this place. 😀

Okay here is the deal on the looks change.

The 3 column that I was running, was tossing errors and when you are a production blogger, like me; that is never a good thing. Anyhow, I at first, tried WordPress’s newest theme, Twenty-Twelve. Well, it was nice, but it had some issues that I really did not like, in the display department. So, I ditched it and got this one here, which was made by the same people in 2011. Looks-wise, I like this one much better than the other one.

So, there’s that.

Because none of the corporations or crony capitalists are cutting me any checks nor is any of Obama’s friends. I could use a little help with expenses around here. It is tough being an independent and not down with the partisan crowds. Because of this, nobody wants to get behind you. Unlike some out there, who are of partisan, ethnic or political privilege; I do not have such luxuries. So, if you can, put a few bucks in to my donation jar, because I could really use the support.

Then I go and  post something like this here.  Um. Oops. 😳

This shall be amended to read:

The posting of personal information of ANYONE in the comment sections is discouraged. The only exception will be when I actually ask for something of the sort, and it must be sent to me privately. Ultimately, I am the person who will decide whether something will be allowed to stand or not. Most usually, I will reject such things; but there some exceptions.  (Updated: November 23, 2012)

Also too, some came here looking for a posting, which involved a picture of my Thanksgiving Dinner. Well, here what happened. I took the picture and it looked HORRIBLE! So, I pulled the posting. Sorry about that. I really should never post, unless I am sure I want to publish. Sometimes, I forget that.

Yeah, I know, I said I was quitting until Tuesday. I lied. Well, I did not actually lie. There is just important stuff to blog about and if I am going to be successful at this blogging stuff; I am going have to push past the pissed off feelings and get back to it.  I still am not happy about the situation, but, eh, those are the breaks, comes with the territory I suppose.

Oh, and Brayton? Bite me, you fat hog.
