Whether you like this man or loathe him; it cannot be denied that he is making an impression in the media right now and is quite successful at it. This video comes via Reason Magazine’s Blog called Reason Hit and Run; Reason did an article in 2004 bashing Murock’s strangle hold on the media industry. Now whether that stranglehold is real or imagined is for others to judge. I have to honestly wonder aloud; is Reason magazine’s bashing of Rupert Murdoch a result of the editors blind jealousy of his success? It is a reasonable thing to ask, do you not think?
Anyhow, here is the interview done by Sky TV; which Rupert owns a small share of. Friendly media aspersions aside; the man is just a interesting person in general. I bet many could learn from this man; including liberals.
I suppose the real question everyone is asking is; will Rupert’s idea work? The smart people say no; Rupert says yes. The real question is; who’s the bigger fool? That is the question of the ages.
The Video is here, and boy does it ever show the damage.
The Story:
A state worker is recovering after a bloody brawl at a union hall. He says members of the local SEIU 1000 beat him up and sent him to the hospital all because he wanted to expose allegedl corruption within the union.
Ken Hamidi is a state worker at the California Franchise Tax Board. Last night he walked into a union hall in Sacramento for an SEIU local 1000 meeting.
“We had every right to be here, very simple; it wasn’t anything private or anything exclusive,” said Hamidi.
But Hamidi says the union members did not want him there.
“Three, four people jumped at me, wrestled with me, then did all that,” said Hamidi. “I was covered in blood and then over to the emergency room.”
For the record, Glenn is ranting about this article by Frank Rich. The part that made me lean back in the chair and let out a belly laugh, was the crack about Republicans eating themselves. “Yep, This big old fatty has got plenty of room!” — Classic. I am quite the fatty myself and I loved that.
Anyhow, if Frank Rich and people like him freak out over this movement. What will they do come 2010 or even 2012 for that matter? 😮 😯 It is to truly wonder.

I have not really promoted it that heavily; mainly because I have not really thought about it.
But your help is requested…
Here’s the e-mail that I received:
Subject: An Affront to All that is Good and Pure in the World
I’m talking about the marines.
Team Marines is leading Team Army by a lousy few thousand dollars. This simply must not stand.
First, let me thank all of you who have posted on behalf of Team Army. Second, I apologize for the lack of commo and cooordination (blame my scout background) as I just received the email list yesterday and am recovering from the flu.
So, here are some assets to use in posting about Valour-IT for Team Army:
Cox & Forkum Carton: attached to this email (we have permission to use but it would also be nice to link to them – Click here ).
Now this is where Mr. Blackfive thinks that I should be mocking Marines. What kind of idiot does he think I am? 😯 😮 I mean, most of those guys are muscle bound menaces; and besides that, I cannot run worth a darn. IYKWIMAITYD!
Anyhow, here’s the videos, THAT I GOT FROM BLACKFIVE!
If you have any assets you want to share, email me and I’ll send them to the group.
This one hits me really hard. I guess it is where I was raised; which was, for what it is worth, Southwest Detroit.
I offer this without commentary…. This is Afrikaans:
Lyrics:
I hear the gunfire, see the blood run, feel the rage
I see a black man, see a colored man, in a cage
The sweat of miners, digging diamonds, digging graves
To feed the bossman, to feed his family, to feed his slaves
Men are cursing, women praying, for release
But when a white man kills one of “them” no one sees
From Capetown, to Pretoria, to Johannesburg there is a crying
Of people dying, that can be heard
I hear the gunfire, see the blood run, smell the fear
You lock your minds up, shut the curtains, you close your ears
Forget the black man, neglect his baby, ignore his hell
We need apartheid to keep the animal in his cell
You sweep the pavement, shine the buildings, display the maid
You say “republic”, I say blind man, it’s a cage
God makes the color, but the color doesn’t make you God
And in the judgment, He will remember the ones you robbed
Without the Lord’s love, this injustice will prevail
Until Jesus is the only Master, we’ll never break the bars of jail
