A black member of the Alabama legislature uncorked a racist tirade in an email this week to a constituent who urged him not to embrace new gun control laws – copying his incendiary language to every member of the state legislature.
Joseph Mitchell, a Democrat who has represented parts of the city of Mobile since 1994 and ran for re-election unopposed in 2010 and 2006, castigated a voter named Eddie Maxwell, a Jefferson County man whom he correctly presumed was white.
‘Hey man,’ Mitchell wrote. ‘Your folk never used all this sheit [sic] to protect my folk from your slave-holding, murdering, adulterous, baby-raping, incestuous, snaggle-toothed, backward-a**ed, inbreed [sic], imported criminal-minded kin folk.’
Yeah, he can call us all that, but when I call him what he is; that being an asshole nigger, I get called a racist bigot. Now for those who do not like it that I called him this; I say this right here —- There is a grand canyon’s worth of difference between an educated black man, who is not all hung up on race, like this coon here and an asshole who harbors this sort of hate towards white people. The last time I checked, not I or any other white man alive today, are responsible for the lynchings and the slavery that happened in this Country many, many years ago.
Furthermore, it is an inconvenient truth to many people, possibly including this knuckle-dragger; that ALL of the blacks that were imported to the United States as slaves were not just your regular person in Africa, they were CRIMINALS and bad criminals at that! They were people in prison for long or life sentences for murder, rape and all sorts of other crimes in Africa. It is a LIE and rewriting of history to say that they were all innocent, because they were not!
Again, I do not hate blacks, except ones who go around talking this sort of shit, this many years after slavery was abolished and a civil war, which was fought against MY ancestors; was fought to make it stick — and this many years after the 1964 civil rights act. I mean, they are free to live, work and play everywhere. What the hell else do they damned want?
As far as I am concerned, this idiot and his people can go screw themselves; especially seeing how those people and their Latino friends killed my damned cousin in 1994.

Again, this is why I love being an independent politically, (Who does lean to the right slightly, but I digress.) and being a bit of a free-thinker; I see the hypocrisy of both sides. This is a perfect example of that very thing.
Whither assault weapons ban: “Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said on Monday that a controversial assault weapons ban will not be part of a Democratic gun bill that was expected to reach the Senate floor next month,” Politico notes. “After a meeting with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Monday, a frustrated Feinstein said she learned that the bill she sponsored — which bans 157 different models of assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines — wouldn’t be part of a Democratic gun bill to be offered on the Senate floor. Instead, it can be offered as an amendment. But its exclusion from the package makes what was already an uphill battle an almost certain defeat.”
My first reaction was one of relief. The bill was idiotic at best. The reason why this bill died is because Democrats know what many of the rest of America know –that America is gun nation; it always has been and always will be. America’s freedom from the British was done at the hands of guns. Furthermore, the Democrats tried this once before, in the 1990’s and they paid a terrible price for it. Harry Reid might be a liberal Democrat, but he is no idiot; he does want to be reelected to office again.
The point is this; and even my own Democratic Party voting Mother believes this — that outlawing guns of any sort is not going to stop crime. Because the criminals are always going to be able to get guns, no matter what the Government does to try to prevent it. Because there is this thing, called the “Black Market” and it does not go empty very often. Especially seeing how we let some guns walk across the border. I would not be shocked to see some of those guns end up back in the States eventually and someone killed with them.
In closing: Everyone, including me, wants to see an end to shootings, of any sort. But, passing such idiotic bills, such as this one here, is simply not the answer to the problem. The answer is encouraging parents to be involved with their children’s lives. Another good idea, and as much as I know this is going to sound like a cliché; it is the truth —- getting children involved in Church is not a bad idea. It worked for me. I spent most of my young life in Church. If anything at all; it served as good alternative to the streets and the trouble that I could have gotten into in them in Detroit. I did have parents who were strict and involved in my life, but the Church was a big part of that too.
We just cannot legislate our way to an utopian society, it just does not work. It has been tried and it has failed every time.

It seemed in recent weeks lawmakers might be headed toward some common-sense regulation of gun sales. But then last week they went too far. By mistake, they claim. But still too far.
“They always say, we’ll never go house to house to take your guns away. But then you see this, and you have to wonder.”
That’s no gun-rights absolutist talking, but Lance Palmer, a Seattle trial lawyer and self-described liberal who brought the troubling Senate Bill 5737 to my attention. It’s the long-awaited assault-weapons ban, introduced last week by three Seattle Democrats.
Responding to the Newtown school massacre, the bill would ban the sale of semi-automatic weapons that use detachable ammunition magazines. Clips that contain more than 10 rounds would be illegal.
But then, with respect to the thousands of weapons like that already owned by Washington residents, the bill says this:
“In order to continue to possess an assault weapon that was legally possessed on the effective date of this section, the person possessing shall … safely and securely store the assault weapon. The sheriff of the county may, no more than once per year, conduct an inspection to ensure compliance with this subsection.”
In other words, come into homes without a warrant to poke around. Failure to comply could get you up to a year in jail.
Yeah! Good luck enforcing that bill! First time a cop gets shot in the goddamned head, when some homeowner is not too keen on some police officer coming to take his guns; that thing will off the books. So much for the Forth Amendment eh?
Let me also say this too. I might not be to happy with the Republican Party and the Conservative movement at the moment. But, this right here, and two other major issues; is why I basically said that the Democrats were not getting my vote anymore. There are a whole bunch of things that really need to change in that party, before this little fat white boy ever comes back to the Democrat side. This is one of those things. The two others is the “gay rights and marriage” thing and Abortion. I just cannot justify killing babies at all. Sorry, just will not tolerate it or agree with it at all. Incest and Rape are one thing; but the wholesale slaughter of a baby, because you are too damned stupid or irresponsible to care for that child is just not cool in my book.
I might support the unions, and that is largely because of my Father and what they have done for him. But, the second amendment is just one place, that you do not tread with me. Sorry, don’t care what people think about it. Screw ’em if they do not get it. I really do not care, either way.
