Reason #765,556,567,000 Why I enjoy Andrew Malcolm's writings.

Heh!

Thank goodness The Times is the forthright, ethical institution that it is.

And when a mistake happens, it rushes to set the journalistic record straight with an honest repair.

Here is an actual correction from Page A4 of today’s print edition:

FOR THE RECORD

TV listings: The Prime-Time TV grid in Thursday’s Calendar section mistakenly listed MTV’s “Jackass” show on the MSNBC cable schedule at 7 and 10 p.m. where instead MSNBC’s “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” should have been listed.

It’s not the Worst Mistake in the World.

But without this kind of correction, online too, a few thousand people might have tuned into MSNBC, the Obama administration’s favorite cable channel, expecting to see a “Jackass” show, and instead they’d have found Olbermann.

Worse, what if nobody noticed the difference?

Good question, that dude; in my opinion, has become a partisan parody of real Political commentary since Obama took office.  I venture to guess that not many people would have known the difference.

Obama's Wee Wee Redux

The White  House trying to explain Obama’s little wee wee comment.

“It’s a phrase I use,” White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said today, hesitating at his press briefing to offer a physical demonstration of the phraseology.

“Let’s do this in a way that’s family friendly,” Gibbs said. “I think ‘wee-weed up’ is when people get all nervous for no particular reason….

“August of 2008, everybody was nervous about whether the entire presidential campaign was slipping out from the hands of the president,” Gibbs said, turning the page to this August, in which all the president’s critics are declaring his health-care initiatives in peril. “This is sort of an August pundit pattern of people getting overly nervous about something that has a long way to go…

“Bedwetting would probably be the more consumer-friendly term for it,” the press secretary said.

I saw this over at HotAir, but I really do not like trackbacking to those guys all the time. So, I passed on it. But it’s around; So, I give you a funny video. It’s a Steven Crowder video, with guest star Zo.

If anything it is funny because of Crowder’s goofy laugh, not to mention watching these two guys attempting to dance. 😀

A little horn tootin'

Not to toot my own horn or anything.  (Toot! Toot! 😆 )

But I just noticed something. I got a mention on a major political magazine’s Blog.
