Updated:Anti-abortion activist shot dead in front of School – Obama and Liberals Silent Confirmed Motive was political

Waiting for the breakneck coverage from the Liberal Media on this. I will not hold my breath; least I turn blue and die.

State police at the Corunna post have confirmed a well-known anti-abortion activist was shot multiple times and killed this morning in front of Owosso High School.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released but the shooting occurred around 7:30 a.m., after most students were off the buses and safely inside the building, said Owosso schools transportation supervisor Jayne Campbell.

State police also confirmed that a suspect was taken into custody about 8:15 a.m. at the suspect’s home.

Owosso High School secretary Wendy Smith said the students remain in lockdown this morning and confirmed that no students were involved and all are safe with classes going on as normal. The shooting did not occur on school property, Smith said.

Meanwhile, police have completely ringed with police tape a section of North Street in front of the school.

A black car can be seen parked at the corner of North and Whitehaven streets, where a portable oxygen tank is lying in a front yard next to a large sign bearing the image of a baby and the word “Life.”

For what it is worth; the man was 63 years old. I am glad that the suspect was caught; also there was another murder, that took place that was carried about by the same suspect. I believe it would be a bit premature to speculate whether the murder was related to his advocacy or not. So, I will speculate on this. But I will say that, if this had been an abortion doctor; it would have been front page news. I am even suprised that Fox News is not even covering it. They are too busy playing 9/11 footage over and over and over.

A 33-year-old Michigan man has been charged with murder in the shootings this morning of an anti-abortion protester outside a high school and the owner of a gravel company found dead in his office.

Harlan Drake of Owosso, near Lansing, was arraigned on two counts of first-degree murder and other gun-related crimes. Prosecutors said Drake also had planned to kill a third, unidentified person.

Longtime anti-abortion activist James Pouillon, 63, was shot multiple times from a passing car about 7:20 a.m. ET. He was protesting across the street from Owosso High School as students were arriving for classes. Witnesses, including students, provided the gunman’s license plate.

About the same time Mike Fuoss, 61, was found dead in his office at Fuoss Gravel in Owosso Township.

Drake was arrested at home about an hour later. Police said he stated he had also shot Fuoss.

“The indication is that he had ill will … a grudge against these three individuals,” said Shiawassee County Prosecutor Randy Colbry. “The defendant was offended by the manner of Mr. Pouillon’s message.”

Still waiting for that Statement from Obama condemning this murder. Still waiting for the outrage amongst the Liberals and the wall to wall coverage of the Liberal MSM. I won’t hold my breath; least I turn blue and die. 😡

Prepare for Liberal Backlash Against Conservatives!

I was afraid something like this was going to start.

Due to the stupid behavior of Van Jones and his subsequent resignation. The liberal MSM is now gearing up for a return attack against Glenn Beck; and they are employing the services of the Liberal Blogosphere to do so.

To his much deserved Credit, Ed Morrissey predicted that this would happen:

What exactly does that mean?  In the next Republican administration, we can expect a great deal of scrutiny for Presidential advisers.  For one thing, it means that no one who ever expressed public support for Birthers to get the benefit of the doubt.  The two conspiracy theories are different, but they both are entirely speculative and imagine dark conspiracies at the highest orbits of power, and neither have any actual direct evidence for support.  Anyone who signed a Birther petition can expect to get bypassed for political appointments in a Republican White House with a halfway-decent vetting team, strictly on the basis of politics, in the wake of Jones’ resignation.

The media and the leftward parts of the New Media will get to work in the meantime on advisers and staffers of Republicans in Congress, and in the New Media itself.  They will use the Van Jones Standard to launch attacks on high-profile conservatives, looking for everything from John Birch Society membership to militias and Birtherism as well.  They have done this all along, but the Left and the media will find much more enthusiasm for these efforts in order to trade Van Jones’ scalp for one or more on the Right.

Ed has never been wrong before; and it appears that it is already starting against Glenn Beck. RedState’s Erick Erickson has discovered an Plea Entry over at DailyKos from none other than the DNC’s chief spokesperson himself; Keith Olbermann, asking for any and all dirt on Glenn Beck and his producers and anyone else over at Fox News.

Tuesday we will expand this to the television audience and have a dedicated email address to accept leads, tips, contacts, on Beck, his radio producer Burguiere, and the chief of his tv enablers, Ailes (even though Ailes’ power was desperately undercut when he failed to pull off his phony “truce” push).

This becomes necessary after this in order to prove various cliches about goose and gander, and to remind everybody to walk softly and carry a big popsicle, and most particularly to save this nation from the Oligarhy of The Stupid.

I keep wondering if somewhere somebody named Ollie Garhey thinks he’s in charge now. Or, even more entertainingly and societally satisfying, if somebody named Ali Garhi does.

You almost hear the desperation in that posting above. The Liberals took a massive pounding and they are in earnest trying to find a way to volley a return fire at Glenn Beck. If you believe that they are going to stop with Glenn Beck; you are kidding yourselves. My suggestion to ALL Conservative Bloggers is this. Girt your loins, prepare for attacks on your blogs, by Socalists. If you are running WordPress Blogs, update to the latest version of WordPress. Because right now, there is a worm spreading around that is taking out older versions of WordPress.  I would expect that these socialist minions are more than willing to try DOS attacks on blogs. Especially high profile Blogs. If you do not have a good relations with your host. Now would be a good time to start one or find a host that is blogger friendly.

It is not my intention to scare anyone or anything of that nature. But it would be prudent of all of us; that if we continue to challenge this Administration; we must be prepared for the fallout and for any sort blow-back that might result from the resignation of Obama Administration officials.  Remember we are doing the Lord’s work. This is our God-Given Country, and we must stand up for the principles that this Country was founded upon; which are God-Breathed.   While I do not view all Democrats as my enemy per-say; I view socialists and Socialism, especially of the Saul Alinsky strand, to be an Enemy of America; right up there with Al-Qaeda. We must be strong, we must be wise and above all, we must be ready.

Obama should really look into feeding his supporters

A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.

The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles, who attended the rally.

The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment. Doctors reattached the finger, which was said to have been severed in half. He has since been released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Neither man has been identified.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Frank O’Hanlon says the man had Medicare.

Sheriff’s officials are investigating the incident.

Seriously, Obama should at least provide food for his supporters of his Socialized Health-care plan. 😛

But seriously, I think there was wrong doing on both sides and the police should have a bit more attentive to who was where and what they were doing. The man who is against the healthcare bill should not have punched anyone and of course; the man took at bit too far biting the man’s finger off.

I think everyone and I do mean everyone; needs to take a step back and relax. The President is supposed to make an address and I believe that he is going to make it clear, that he is not going to push for the public option. Some are claiming that they are going to try and rename it. I highly doubt that to be the case, because President Obama is taking great heat for that proposal and I doubt that he or the Congress at this point, would try and sneak anything in, as they are quite aware that people are actually reading the bills.

The United Arab Emirates has seized a ship carrying North Korean-manufactured munitions, detonators, explosives and rocket-propelled grenades bound for Iran in violation of United Nations sanctions, diplomats said.

The UAE two weeks ago notified the UN Security Council of the seizure, according to the diplomats, who spoke on condition they aren’t named because the communication hasn’t been made public. They said the ship, owned by an Australian subsidiary of a French company and sailing under a Bahamian flag, was carrying 10 containers of arms disguised as oil equipment.

The council committee that monitors enforcement of UN sanctions against North Korea wrote letters to Iran and the government in Pyongyang asking for explanations of the violation, and one to the UAE expressing appreciation for the cooperation, the envoys said. No response has been received and the UAE has unloaded the cargo, they said.

The UAE and Iranian missions to the UN didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. The Financial Times reported the weapons seizure earlier today.

This is what happens when you do the whole “Carrot and Stick” approach to countries like North Korea and Iran. They simply find ways to go around you.  I really believe that the United Nations really needs to rethink their strategy with Iran. Because it is obvious to this Conservative writer, that Iran has no intention of abiding by the rules.  I am not saying that it is time for war with Iran; not at all. At least not with our Country leading the charge. Because, in case anyone has not noticed, We are a bit occupied ourselves. I believe some of the other countries in that region need to step up and put a stop to this nonsense, once and for all.

Now this brings up all kinds of questions. How did the UAE find out? Did we know? Did we tell them? Inquiring minds want to know. Also how does this affect our global tyrant outreach project? Clenched? Unclenched? Hmmm

Those are some good questions. I would also like to know, who tipped off the Financial Times people? I also wonder, what will our feckless fearless leader’s next move will be? Because you know good and well that the Liberal base is not going to approve of him going into Iran or North Korea; even if Obama ordered a small support group to go in and assist any other countries that wanted to invade either Country, the base would totally turn on him. I mean, hell, the left is desperately wanting to pull us out of Afghanistan and Iraq; before the job is even done. They have been trying to do that for years. Do you think they would just sit idly by and allow President Obama to take us into another Military conflict? I do not think so. I mean, “Hope and Change” can only get a man so far.  Especially when it comes to the very far left. I mean, they’re already calling Obama a fascist in some quarters of the left as it is already.

Either way this is going to be a very interesting development and it will be interesting to see how Obama handles the situation and it will be interesting to see how the far socialist/liberal Left reacts to Obama’s actions.  I also would like to see what the Liberal Media’s reaction will be to this story and to how Obama reacts to it as well; will they be just as critical to Obama as they were Bush? or will they continue to give Obama the “free ride” that they have given him so far? It should be very interesting.

Liberals Tan Andrew Breitbart's Ass over his Twitter Stupidity

….and you know what? He deserves every god damned minute of it.

As I wrote on here last night my issues with Ted Kennedy were never personal, only of a political and policy nature.  My postings always reflected that; I never took shots at him personally. I simply called him out, when I felt he was being dishonest. Of course, I did it in my traditionally condescending manner. Hey, I am a Conservative Blogger; condescension and being a general asshole are expected. But, I never made it personal. I have towards others in the past and I have deeply regretted it.  This is why I follow a rule of conduct; attack the policy, not the person, mock gently, but know the line and never cross it.

Andrew Breitbart crossed it early Wednesday morning, when the news of Ted Kennedy’s passing hit. In fact, you can view this obnoxious idiot’s account by hovering over this link here.

Now some of you might be shocked and amazed that I would come out and condemn someone like Andrew for saying stuff like this. Well, allow me to explain as to why. I believe in freedom of speech; I really do. But, I also believe in responsibility of that freedom as well. Now, do I believe that the so-called “Thought Police” should scoop up Mr. BreitBart and send him off to a reeducation camp or something silly like that? Of course not.  As a libertarian-minded Conservative; I believe in a free market approach to freedom of speech. I believe in letting the free market decide if it wants to be associated with obnoxious speech. If Andrew Breitbart wants to speak his mind about Ted Kennedy; fine, let him do so. But if someone is offended by his speech, they have the absolute right to lodge a complaint to Mr. Breitbart’s advertisers and inform them, that they do not intend to purchase their products, if they continue to sponsor this man’s website.

I believe it would be also fair to point out, that Mr. Breitbart did not use his website to express his opinion of Kennedy. He used the social network Twitter. Which is a very public service, unless you elect to make your updates private. Something that no one hardly ever does. But then again, not many people go around acting foolish like this either.

Again, In closing, I believe that Mr. BreitBart has the right to say what he wishes. That is the core ideal of freedom; however, Mr. Breitbart should be prepared to handle the criticism and the consequences, including the loss of advertisers; for expressing his opinions.

Senator Ted Kennedy has died

Yes, I know about it. I have been up all night trying to figure out what the hell I was going to say.

I am referring to the passing of Ted Kennedy.

He was a liberal, of whom his policies I disagreed with; most notably recently when he yowled on about how Health-care was a right of every American citizen. I disagreed then and still do disagree with that foolish damned philosophy.  I called him on it, in my usual crass manner.  This was done with the working assumption that the man would actually live. I had no idea that he was going to die. Besides that, I was calling the man on his politics, and was not intended to be knock on him personally.  Anyone that does not see that difference, needs to get their head out of their damned ass.

He spoke loudly for the disabled, something that I can appreciate, as I am the nephew of a developmentally disabled aunt. (Also known as mentally retarded) The Democrats took up this cause; because the people that should have been taking their cause; that is the Church —— were too busy trying to make themselves more holy and righteous.

I will not lionize him, Mr. Kennedy will get enough of that here in the next few days; from the mainstream media. But I will NOT do the typical slash and burn that is commonly found on many of the Conservative Blogs. Those who do this are pure idiots, immature asinine pricks are they. I said this on twitter last night; which earned me some praise from a well-known tech blogger. How anyone can call themselves a damned Conservative and then turn right around and engage in the same damned behavior that the liberals engaged in when Tony Snow died, is well beyond the ability for this simple-minded writer to understand. I was under the damned impression that we Conservatives were supposed to be better than that.  I guess some of our guys did not get the memo on that subject.

Hell, even Michelle Malkin, the biggest screeching yowler that there is, has tapered her remarks and is showing respect. What was it that Debbie Schlussel called her in a e-mail to me yesterday? Partisan and a fake? Hmmmm.. Perhaps Debbie should look in the mirror, because I see Debbie trashing and Michelle is not, at all. Weird how that works, is it not?

As for all the speculation as to what will this do to the health-care debate, that will come at a later date. For now, let us give the family the space to grieve for a loved one and the Nation, Liberals especially; to morn the loss of their Lion.
