Progressive blogger not too enthralled with the idea of Hillary running for President

Please note: I am not writing this, as a conservative blogger going, “nah nah nah nah boo boo!” But, rather as someone who once voted for Bill Clinton; and voted Democrat in 2000 and 2004. 

I guess we are actually seeing some Clinton fatigue.

This was written over at Balloon Juice, whose owner was, at one point, a Republican, but now is a full on progressive, I guess:

I understand it is not her fault, but I would do anything to not see Hillary run in 2016. If it turns out she is the best candidate and has the best chance to keep the White House out of Republican hands, I will crawl over glass to vote for her and do everything in my power to get her elected.

But I just don’t know if I can take it anymore. She was such an awful candidate in 2008 and continuously surrounds herself with questionable people, and fuck it. Let’s be honest. I quit listening to Blues Traveler around the same time I quit drinking jaegermeister, and I just want all three of them to go away

I know this is what the GOP wants, but I can not do another round of Vince Foster or Benghazi or whatever. I just can’t. And the whole dynastic thing drives me crazy. I just can’t take any more Bush or Clinton candidates. People in America (well, those who pay attention) were shocked with the notion of the PRI holding power in Mexico for 71 years, but how many decades have we had a Nixon, Bush, Clinton, or Dole in the running? It’s just weird.

And yes, I remember that Hillary embodied the hopes of feminists everywhere, but is she really the only female Democrat out there who can win? What about Gillibrand? Does it have to be Hillary?

I remember thinking the same thing back in 2007, when the primaries started. “Why her?” was my exact thought. This was about the time that Obama shot forward in the primaries and for a little while, I thought to myself “You know, I think it is about time that we did have a black man as President.” This is when the Rev. Wright stuff came out; and Obama lost me. Now, before anyone accuses me of swallowing the Fox News propaganda — let me say this: I have seen that complete and unedited sermon that Wright preached, like 2 days after 9/11. I watched the entire 9/11 unfold, on TV — on CNN no less. CNN, at the time, was about all I ever watched at the time, when it came to cable news. There was no way in heck, that I was going to vote for someone, who’s Pastor essentially said that America had 9/11 coming to it. Just. no. way.

Anyhow, when it comes to Hillary. I honestly do not believe that she will run. She has too much baggage from her days as Secretary of State. Plus too, all of her baggage from her days as First Lady. Hillary’s no dummy, she knows better. She’s committed to the cause. But, she’s no fool. She will endorse someone else and work to get them elected.

Just my opinion.

The White Victim – Alex Mazzan

A group of young whites were leaving a hospital in Orlando, Florida. That is when a car with two black males and a black female driver yelled at them and then opened fire. The car was apparently lurking in the area, searching for a group of victims. This was a textbook hate crime, and their is no doubt that the victims were targeted because of their skin color.

Often black gang members use racially motivated violence against whites as gang initiations. In the 80s and 90s this usually meant mob attacks against random white pedestrians. More and more it involves shootings and murders. Gangster rap music, sold at major record stores, even encourages the indiscriminate murder of white people.

If the races had been reversed, this would be the biggest story in the USA right now. Instead it is a “hush crime.” Local media refuses to even mention the killers are black and claims the motive is a mystery. WFTV Channel TV actual reported that the victim was killed “because he wasn’t on a sidewalk.”

If the races had been reversed, the same media outlets would be screaming “hate crime” and list the race of the perps and victims in the headlines.

We all know exactly why this story is being censored and downplayed. The “mainstrean” media is not going to warn the public about the nationwide epidemic of racially motivated motive black on white violent crime. It is up to you. Share this post on Facebook and every other social media site that you use.

In this video below, the anchorwoman even asks the reporter about the description of the perps. Even though they are identified as being black in the police report, they reporter pretends that there is no description. It also appears that one of the victims gave a description during the media interview, but this part was heavily. Many media outlets now openly admit to censoring black crime. You can call their news room and they will confess that they censors the race of black perpetrators.

This webmaster has personally spoken to a reporter for the Orlando Sentinel who informed me that he is ordered to omit the description of black crime perps from stories.

White man, shot down like a dog; all because he told some black man to, “Oh, Shut up…” Do we see this in national mainstream media? No. If this kid were black, this would be a major story on the National News. But, because it’s some white kid; MSNBC and CNN….and yes, even Fox News could care less. 😡

It is official: Chris Christie is a neoconservative

I knew it, when the bridge scandal broke; that something was up with this big ol’ tub of lard —- and now, I now know that is true.

Speaking to a crowd of 700 at the Champions of Jewish Values International Awards Gala in New York on May 18, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (shown) called for a more aggressive, interventionist U.S. foreign policy.

Criticizing the Obama administration’s foreign policy, which he views as too weak, Christie charged: “America is no longer sending clear signals to the world. Consistent signals.” He continued: “Signals like the ones Ronald Reagan sent when he was president as to who our friends are, and we will stand with them without a doubt, and who are enemies are, who we will oppose regardless of the cost.”

Obviously believing that the United States has not acted aggressively enough through Obama’s foreign policy, Christie said: “The rest of the world watches in desperation and hope that America will realize and act upon once again its indispensable place in the world.”

Christie insisted that America’s leaders must send “clear and consistent signals” to those nations it supports and those it doesn’t while promoting America’s values.

Given the venue, observers interpreted “those nations it supports” to include Israel, but he did not mention the Jewish state by name.

“We need to stand once again loudly for these values,” Christie said. “And sometimes that’s going to mean standing in some very messy, difficult places. Standing long and hard for those things that we believe in.”

Christie was particularly critical of what he considers the Obama administration’s lack of sufficient response to Iran’s nuclear enrichment program and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s alleged use of chemical weapons.

He expressed dismay that “even the thought” exists of Iran building a nuclear weapon. He also criticized Obama for saying he’d draw a “red line” warning Assad not to use chemical weapons, but not intervening when alleged evidence of such attacks was presented.

“Once you draw that red line you enforce it, because if you don’t, America’s credibility will be at stake,” Christie asserted.

Needless to say; I will be removing the blog posting about Chris Christie that I wrote a while back. 😡 What an idiot, pander to the Wilsonians, so he can get elected. He won’t be getting my vote, that is for sure.

 

Slimeball Leftist Tactics

That is the only thing I can think of to describe this stunning display of idiocy:

A Pearl man who runs a political blog is accused of sneaking into a nursing home where U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran’s wife is bedridden and photographing her, then posting the image in a video political “hit piece” on the internet.

Madison Police arrested Clayton Thomas Kelly, 28, of Pearl on Friday night on a charge of exploitation of a vulnerable adult. He’s being held on a $100,000 bond.

Kelly is accused of sneaking into St. Catherine’s Village in Madison, where Rose Cochran has resided since 2000, suffering from progressive dementia and now bedridden.

Cochran on Saturday issued a statement: “I have been fortunate to have a wonderful family, and like so many families, we are deeply affected by my wife’s serious, long-term illness, that we consider to be a very private family matter. We will continue doing everything we can to protect my wife’s safety and security.”

Just a question to pose to others who might come over and read this, from me linking to their blogs — have any of you people ever thought about the fact that this guy might not be, who he says he is? On the surface, this might look like something that Andrew Breitbart might support; but if you really know what he was about, Andrew would never support anything like this, at all. The reason I say this, is because the left is not above planting operatives and letting them doing something like this to discredit the right. Someone needs to go to this dude’s blog and really check the archives and see just how long he has been blogging. Because something tells me, that this guy is nothing more than some leftist, posing as someone of the right.

If you are wondering what I am hammering at here; I am thinking along the lines of people like this here. If you know what I mean.

Lamar Advertising caves to the anti-southern crowd

The Southern Nationalist Network reports:

The League of the South’s newest ‘secede’ billboard was only up a day and in that short time became the subject of a lengthy and mostly positive news article by AL.com. That article quotes Dr Michael Hill, president of the League of the South, as saying:

The League of the South has a message all freedom-loving Southerners ought to hear. It is the message of Southern independence from a sinking, corrupt, and destructive government in Washington, DC.

The AL.com article was a hint at what might have been with a great number of people either seeing the billboard in person in Montgomery or hearing of it through the media.

Then, this afternoon, Dr Hill broke the news on a League Facebook page that he had received an email from Lamar Advertising saying that the billboard would be taken down:

Dr. Hill,

As you are aware the League of the South billboard was installed Friday. Since then, we have had several complaints and several customers have stated they will discontinue advertising with us if the ad stays. For these reasons we are forced to have the copy removed. We will issue you a credit for the amount charged.

Dr Hill has promised ‘We will take all the legal action advised by our attorneys. I cannot discuss any specific legal issues on here.‘ He did mention ‘if y’all so desire, you can call Lamar Rep. Adam Freeman at (334) 281-0780. Perhaps a few pro-LS calls will help us out.’

On their Facebook page Lamar Advertising of Montgomery says:

…[W]e provide a wide range of possibilities to get your message seen and your advertising dollar stretched. Our products include posters, bulletins, and digital billboards. Wherever you may be, we’ve got you covered.

But in this case, clearly Lamar did not have us covered. We do indeed have a message that we want to get out. And Lamar was very helpful in getting that message out in Tallahassee. But when a little pressure was applied in Montgomery the company folded rather than stand by its customers. This is very disappointing.

One thing to come out of this is confirmation that our message of Southern independence is powerful and one which threatens our enemies. Their reaction to the billboard tells us that the message works. We will not allow this setback to halt our campaign for the Southern people.

 

Video: Imperial Decay

Some thoughts here before I post this video. I want it to be publically known; that this video is NOT intended to be a slam against the United States Military As the Miltary simply takes it’s orders from the Government leaders. It is, I feel, a very valid criticism of the United States Government. It is also a legit criticism of both political parties; both of whom have bankrupted this Country. They have done this by wars, ripping out banking regulations which brought on the crash of 2008 and many other things too many to list here.

As this video does state, the jig is up, the game has changed; and more people are paying attention to what the Government is doing. This was clear when the American people protested the idea of going into Libya.

Some people might disagree with some of the opinions expressed in this video; but I believe one thing that we can all agree on, is that the United States Government has become terrible large and overreaching; especially in this day of the Obama Presidency.

Whoa: NYT supposedly fires female executive editor for demanding equal pay

I missed this yesterday, because my Dad’s been in the hospital for the past week. He is coming home today. The doctor said he had COPD; and thought at first that he might have had a light heart attack, but yesterday told me, that he doubted that now.

Anyhow, this one must have hit late yesterday and I missed it.

Fellow-journalists and others scrambled to find out what had happened. Sulzberger had fired Abramson, and he did not try to hide that. In a speech to the newsroom on Wednesday afternoon, he said, “I chose to appoint a new leader of our newsroom because I believe that new leadership will improve some aspects …” Abramson chose not to attend the announcement, and not to pretend that she had volunteered to step down.

As with any such upheaval, there’s a history behind it. Several weeks ago, I’m told, Abramson discovered that her pay and her pension benefits as both executive editor and, before that, as managing editor were considerably less than the pay and pension benefits of Bill Keller, the male editor whom she replaced in both jobs. “She confronted the top brass,” one close associate said, and this may have fed into the management’s narrative that she was “pushy,” a characterization that, for many, has an inescapably gendered aspect. Sulzberger is known to believe that the Times, as a financially beleaguered newspaper, has had to retreat on some of its generous pay and pension benefits; Abramson had also been at the Times for many fewer years than Keller, having spent much of her career at the Wall Street Journal, accounting for some of the pension disparity. (I was also told by another friend of hers that the pay gap with Keller has since been closed.) But, to women at an institution that was once sued by its female employees for discriminatory practices, the question brings up ugly memories. Whether Abramson was right or wrong, both sides were left unhappy.

Needless to say, both side of the political aisle are all over this. Seems that the NYT is taking its cue from the 2008 election, where a black man basically pushed out a white woman; ironic isn’t it? What was this thing about the “War on women” that the Democrats are always yowling on about all the time?

My Contribution to the Ann Coulter Twitter takedown

But, first here is the story:

Ann Coulter’s bullshit conservative troll game is slipping. In her zeal to land a jab against… Twitter? Michelle Obama? Nigerian schoolgirls?… she opened a door for her detractors, and they jumped through it with a two-leg flying kick of Photoshop fury.

The way Coulter’s game is supposed to work is 1) she says something bigoted or just plain dumb and trollish, 2) outraged critics say something she can twist as sexist, 3) she positions herself as the victim, 4) she wins. But if she looks like a fucking tone-deaf joke of a demagogue instead of a victim, it doesn’t really work.

That’s where Twitter comes in. Here’s the backstory: Michelle Obama, among others, made the hashtag #bringbackourgirls trend, a viral if superficial way to draw mainstream attention to the plight of the 234 Nigerian teen girls kidnapped by an Islamist militant group called Boko Haram. Never mind that anti-Islam conservatives were the first folks to scream for media attention to this story; the nascent right-wing meme is now that Michelle Obama trivialized the story by hashtagging it.
