I know I have written about Chris Christie and how much I like the guy in the past. However, I am quite the realist; and I happen to know that the man does not have a prayer. I will explain this after the story quote.

If Chris Christie tries to run for President of the United States in 2016, it will be a fool’s errand. The reasons are many:
The Conservative grassroots sees him as too moderate, even a closeted liberal. In actuality Christie is simply a moderate pragmatist; but that means nothing in politics, especially of the presidential sort. The Republican Party has become a purist party and moderates like him are simply not wanted.
The Republican establishment sees Christie as a loose cannon and as too much of a moderate. While the Republican establishment loathes the “tea party,” they are not fools, they would never risk a high stakes election in 2016 on someone like Christie. The republicans are worried about electability; and Christie does not fit that bill.
It is a pity that politics has become a likeability contest anymore; but thanks to the liberal media and a complacent Republican establishment; which is more interested in protecting its reputation and it’s entrenched special interests —- things like this will most likely never change. It has been said many times, that in this day and age, Ronald Reagan would never make it out of the primary and it is true. The Republican Party let Reagan slip, because of public backlash among the grassroots, which the media captured in the “I’m paying for the microphone!” moment.
However, things now have changed and will never, ever see an economic populist, true midwestern American President again; especially seeing that the protected ethnic minority caucuses on the right. I hope that I would be wrong about this; however, I am one that will readily concede to reality — and this is the reality of American Republican politics.
Ugh… I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
The puke-worthy story:
Tokyo — One-of-a-kind Lady Gaga has been replicated.
The pop star unveiled life-size dolls in her likeness, dressed in her flamboyant costumes, at a Tokyo event Sunday. A person leaning against the silicon doll’s chest can hear Lady Gaga music and messages.
Gaga said she was honored to have replicas of herself.
Japanese industrial and design companies teamed with her record label to create the Gagadoll, inspired by her new “Artpop” album. They’re prototypes not yet available for sale.
At the news conference, Gaga made her grand entrance wearing a red plaid jumpsuit and wrapped in coils.
Gaga is participating in a charity auction to benefit the 2011 earthquake and tsunami victims. She’s hoping that one of the two Gaga-styled Hello Kitty dolls will raise a lot of money for the cause.
TODAY lost a member of its family this weekend. One of the victims of the tragic train derailment in the Bronx was Jim Lovell, 58, an audio technician who frequently worked on TODAY and other NBC programs. Lovell was on his way to work to do a setup for the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting special when the train derailed.
Seeing that the drive-by trolls are starting to become a problem again, I am putting comments back on moderation for the foreseeable future. I don’t need the stupidity and I am not in the mood to have to delete the stupidity.
If Iran is deceiving us and is hell-bent on breaking out of this deal and making a dash to a bomb, we will know about it months if not years before Iran ever tests a device, let alone builds a bomb, miniaturizes it and marries it to a delivery system.
We would have more than enough notice to abort any test and neutralize Iran’s nuclear program. And the nation would unite behind action, were it seen that Iran had lied to us to buy time to build and test a bomb.
But if the Republican Party leads Congress in imposing new sanctions, and the Iranians walk out, and the NATO-Russia-China coalition breaks up, and a chance for peace in the Persian Gulf seems to have been thrown away, the GOP will pay the price. And rightly so.
MADISON, MS, November 25, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Authorities say an abortionist with a history of tax evasion, botched abortions, and unusual disposal of aborted babies has died.
Police found the body of Dr. Joseph Booker Jr., 69, at his home Thursday night after relatives complained they could not reach him. Investigators said Booker suffered a stroke and drowned in his shower in his Madison, Mississippi, home.
Tanya Britten of Pro-Life Mississippi said, “From a Christian perspective, I pray that he repented on the lives that he has taken, and that God is merciful,”
In 1999, Booker served time in prison for tax evasion. Later in the year, police learned that a local resident discovered 36 bags of aborted babies in a storage unit he purchased from Booker in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. The new owner said Booker stowed the babies there shortly before going to prison.
For years, Booker performed abortions at Jackson Women’s Health Organization (JWHO), the last abortion facility in the state.
In 2003, he botched an abortion that left Daschica Thomas in a coma, after she had to receive blood transfusions and contracted a blood infection.
She and her husband filed suit against Booker in 2005, claiming he abruptly stopped in the middle of an abortion and did not administer antibiotics. Thomas, who is diabetic, ultimately won a $600,000 settlement against Booker.
I say justice in the headline, because the Bible says the following:
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:7-8 KJV)
Again, it couldn’t not have happened to better person. The man killed babies; and is now in hell. Good place for him. One down and many more to go.
Paul Crouch, co-founder of the popular Trinity Broadcasting Network, has passed away at age 79.
Crouch’s grandson, Brandon, tweeted earlier Saturday, “Today, my grandfather, #PaulCrouchSr went home to be with Jesus in heaven. Thank you for your prayers…”
TBN’s Facebook page announced, “Dr Paul F. Crouch passed into the presence of the Lord on November 30, 2013. We are grateful for the life of this amazing servant of God.”
Another note on the page said Crouch passed away at 2:32 a.m. Crouch had suffered for more than a decade with chronic heart problems.
The televangelist was hospitalized for congestive heart failure two years ago and received a pacemaker last year. He went back into the hospital last month and for awhile needed a ventilator to help him breathe. But he had returned home early in November amid reports he was doing better.

TBN’s Facebook page has been filling with words of condolence and memories throughout the day.
Preacher Arthur Blessitt, most well-known for carrying a large cross through many nations of the world, wrote, “I have been close friends with Paul and Jan since 1976. He was a true man of God and through TBN led millions to Jesus.”
“Let’s all pray for his wife Jan and all the family. His focus was always +jesus. Tears pour from my eyes,” he continued. “I’ll miss my friend but there is joy in heaven where millions of people are thanking him for sharing Jesus with them.”
Several Christian leaders also offered their condolences and tributes to Crouch upon learning of the news.
“Paul Crouch changed the course of Christian history by building a Christian network that spreads that Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations of the world everyday,” John Hagee, founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, said. “Our deepest sympathies for his loved ones today.”
“Thanking God today for the life of Paul Crouch – a dear friend and mentor and a giant of the faith whose TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network helped bring untold millions around the world to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ…You will be missed but certainly never forgotten,” Rod Parsley, evangelist and pastor of World Harvest Church, wrote.
Now, I will simply say this: Obviously, I do disagree with the doctrines that are taught by programming on TBN and you can learn more about that here.
However, what will not do is this; I will not sit here and denigrate someone who is now passed on. The truth is the man was obedient to the Lord. The man felt that God had called him to the Ministry and then, he felt the Lord calling him into the field of Christian television and from there things grew. I am, as a Christian; simply not going to sit here and criticize the man for that decision at all. Why? Because I happen to know about the will of God. There are two of those sort of wills of God.

It is important to distinguish between the directive and the permissive will of God. In the first sense the place for the covenant family was Canaan (Gen_26:1-5); (Gen_46:3) is a touching instance of the permissive will of God. Jacob’s family, broken, and in part already in Egypt, the tenderness of Jehovah would not forbid the aged patriarch to follow. God will take up His people and, so far as possible, bless them, even when they are out of His best. In Israel’s choice of a king (1Sa_8:7-9) in the turning back from Kadesh (Deu_1:19-22) in the sending of the spies; in the case of Balaam — illustrations of this principle are seen. It is needless to say that God’s permissive will never extends to things morally wrong. The highest blessing is ever found in obedience to His directive will.
I happen to know that Paul Crouch operated, as many Christian evangelists did in years past and still do — in that Directive will of God.
By the way, I do NOT believe that Fundamental Baptists hold the market on the doing the will of God; many of them do believe that they hold that market, and they are stupid. While, I might not agree with the doctrines totally. I still celebrate the fact that anyone in America, can turn on the television set and be going through the channels and hear the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached 24/7 365 days a year on one channel. Now, keep in mind there are others doing it now too. But, Paul and Jan Crouch were the first ones.
Now as for the critics of TBN, and of Paul and Jan Crouch; I ask you this one simple question: What are you doing to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What sort of outreach ministry do you have? In other words:
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. —- (Matthew 7:1-5 KJV)
As for those who are bad mouthing Paul Crouch and his ministry, the Bible says this about them:
Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.(Matthew 6:2 KJV)
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. — (Matthew 6:5 KJV)
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. — (Matthew 6:16 KJV)
Those who trash Paul and Jan Crouch; and their ministry. They have their reward. Those who are Mormon and supposedly Christian and they use their so-called “libertarian conservative” site to trash real Christians — they have their reward.
My prayers are with the Crouch Family and everyone at the TBN Ministry.
In real life, the guy who looks you in the eye and promises that “if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan, period” can be expected to tell you, cross his heart, the Benghazi massacre was caused by an anti-Muslim video, and that everything possible was done to save Americans under siege. He can also be expected to run an administration that assures you, even as things fall apart, that the Muslim Brotherhood is a moderate, largely secular organization committed to democracy; that Obamacare is not a tax and will dramatically reduce your premiums while cutting spending; that we are experiencing the most transparent administration in history; that the criminally reckless Fast and Furious program was begun by the Bush administration; that the president has cut spending and debt even as he piles trillions more on our tab; that he has excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs; or that an “interim agreement” that explicitly allows Iran to enrich uranium — and that anticipates a final accord establishing a permanent uranium “enrichment program” for Iran — somehow does not recognize an Iranian right to enrich uranium and so portend a revolutionary jihadist regime possessed of nuclear bombs.
Though never desirable, presidential fraud might be tolerable if this were 1995 again. But it is not — our times are grave. Unlike the days of the Clinton bender, the question is not how the president is going to survive another fine mess he’s gotten himself into. The question is how we are going to survive this president.
I would have posted this earlier, but, like everyone else on Thanksgiving — I zonked out asleep after all that turkey! I hope everyone’s thanksgiving was a good as mine. 😀
