This is why you have to be careful!

This story right here is why you have to very careful about what you say and do on the net.

I won’t drone on about a police state or anything. But, if you get on the wrong side of those guys, and if you read the link you will know who I mean — you are screwed.

It pays to be careful, with your content, comments and everything else.

Video: Sarah Palin will not be at the GOP convention

So says Peter J. Boyer of the Daily Best.

Now, why in the world would Mitt Romney snub Sarah Palin?

Well, maybe because of stuff like this?

I mean, if I knew that some woman who ran as a GOP VP had fan sites with video implying that Sarah Palin should or wanted to shoot me; I would not invite her either! 😯 (It’s in the links on the “About Us” page on that site, if you are wondering. They have her back, and they’ll shoot anyone who tries to get near her too!)

I will admit, that during the 2008 election, I was very highly critical of Sarah Palin. Just check out the search results of my old blog. I was always fair to her, and I would defend her, when others would attack her children or anything stupid like that. However, I just did not like the idea that the Vice-Presidency or anything else for that matter; should just be handed to someone, like Palin, because she is a Woman. This is because that is called gender entitlement.  Gender Entitlement is a form of identity politics and it is, like feminism, a liberal progressive idea and not even remotely a Conservative one.

Sarah Palin started out well; however, when the media, which was admittedly very liberal, vetted her, she wilted and was exposed for the shallow resume politician that she truly is. All was not lost, she ended up with a gig on Fox News. Basically, Sarah Palin’s legacy is that she was the mayor of a one-horse little town in Alaska, and went after some GOP establishment types, and then ran for Governor and won that race. Then, she proceeded to pass a bunch of idiotic legislation, which in turn was used against her by the Democrats. Finally, after tiring of these attacks, she basically “cut and run” (to steal a phrase from a well-known Neo-Con President)  to get away from the fight.

Real Conservatives stay and fight, Real Conservatives have resumes, Real Conservatives do not expect things to be handed to them, because of color, gender or religion. Sarah Palin is no Conservative, not by my standards, at all.

Somehow, I doubt this to be true

Somehow, I doubt this to be true about Mitt Romney.

Via Washington Times:

Two of Mitt Romney’s top foreign policy advisers slammed the Obama administration this week for failing to address a mounting humanitarian catastrophe in Sudan, saying Mr. Obama’s mishandling of the region’s ongoing crisis offers a window into how a Romney White House would do things differently.

The administration’s soft posture toward Sudanese President Omar Bashir has paved the way for continued atrocities against civilians, the advisers said. They added that Mr. Obama’s habit of taking U.S. allies for granted also is on full display when it comes to South Sudan — which commemorated its first anniversary as an independent country this week.

“I think the South Sudanese feel they’ve been abandoned and the United States is working more as a neutral mediator than as an advocate on their behalf,” said Andrew Natsios, a special adviser to the Romney campaign who headed the U.S. Agency for International Development under President Bush in the early 2000s.

Were Mr. Romney president, added Richard Williamson, another of the campaign’s foreign policy advisers, he would “provide political leadership” in confronting Lt. Gen. Bashir, who continues to hold the Sudanese presidency despite having been indicted on war-crimes charges by the U.N.-backed International Criminal Court.

I really doubt this to be true. Because for one, there’s no oil there. For two, there’s no nation to protect. So, I doubt Romney would even remotely care about this at all.

Besides this, why is it that America has to be the World’s policeman? Why can’t the U.N. handle this? Why does America have to spend its money, blood and treasure; on a Country that most likely hates us anyhow?

That’s what I’d like to know.

Video: When Michelle Malkin is right, she’s right

As I have written on here before, I am not a overly huge fan of Michelle Malkin. But when the Lady’s right, she’s right.

Via Mediaite:

…and of course, the left is going into existential meltdown mode over this comment. You can read the round up here. Some really a-typical liberal racism being spewed too. Just typical of what happens when a Conservative speaks the rare truth about the left. I give Malkin kudos for daring to say about most of Obama supporters, that people like me have known for a very long time. I know, I used to work with them. Some of the most laziest people you’d ever want to meet. None of them wanted to work, and they wanted to hold me, a white man, in contempt for things that White people had done over 300 years ago.

I guess the only pity, is that it took an affirmative action Conservative, like Malkin, to point out this very glaring and obvious truth.

Heh: Ron Paul sends reasonable message to followers

…and his followers have a little problem with it.

Go read

Check out the comments about the Neocons and “Banksters”.

Just an FYI: when they say Banksters and Neocons, Ron Paul followers usually mean Jews. Which is why I never liked the guy really. Too many of his followers are of the tin foil hat variety and just straight up haters.

Which is sad too; Ron Paul has some really great ideas. It’s just the crazies that drove people like me away.

Pretty Much, Yes

They are the new birthers

Which is why I will not waste a moment of excess bandwidth on them. Except to link to this good pairing of stupidity.

Round up of all the Bain stupidity here

I do not think that making light of someone’s death is funny

I am referring to the Obama Campaign staffer that suddenly dropped dead today.

You see, I once, a few years ago, made a horrible mistake; I talked about it recently:

Also too, because I got into a little scape with another right blogger once, which they started and I took to another level. That one, I do regret, highly; mainly because the person named at said link’s dead wife got pulled into the mess, by me — by mistake. To my defense, I had zero clue who the woman is, I was out for revenge and her name was there. I had no idea that was the blog owner’s wife.

In hindsight, which is always 20/20. I wish I had just ignored that incoming poke and left stuff well enough alone. But, I didn’t and I will have to live with what I did. 🙁

Not only was what I did not funny; it was damned morbid, by accident mind you, but still just damned wrong. Go follow the link to see what I am referring to. I screwed up badly on that and I made a crap load of enemies on the right; which, by rights, they should be angry at me for what I did.

This is why I am tossing the red flag on this one; and basically saying:

No Sale.

It isn’t funny, isn’t classy, it is low brow, morbid bull crap that I will not be a part of it, at all.

To me, it is the same as the idiotic birther crap. Which went in mainstream right circles for a week and yes, I got caught up in it and I got burned. After which I said, I would not write anything that could not be proven in a court of law. Further more, this is why the Mainstream media hates we bloggers with a passion. Because some bloggers, not all of them; will publish anything, just to get eyeballs on their site. I did that when I first got into blogging. It was stupid and I paid a price for it. I learned from my mistakes, from running my two previous blogs and I am not about make those same mistakes again on this one. Some Republicans and Conservatives just are not that smart. I pity them and hope I don’t ever see any of them in court, as it could get ugly.

I just wish other bloggers felt the same damned way.

Update: No sooner than I hit publish; I realized, I forgot something. Before anyone asks; yes, I did condemn the left for mocking Rick Santorum for bringing him his baby that died. This sort of thing goes well beyond partisan politics, this is someone’s real life that ended. We should be a bit more respectful here on the right —- just a thought.
