You might have noticed that the Blog went away for a little bit earlier.
No, Liberals did not hack into the Blog.
Yours truly attempted to download and install a beta version of WordPress. The install went fine. it was when I opened my Blog in a browser, I got the dreaded 500 error, which is an internal server error! Yikes! ๐ฎ ๐ฏ
I think it had something to do with a file in my host directory being not writable or something.
Luckily for me, I did a FULL system back up of my current install. Whew! I didn’t lose anything, at all, this time.
Anyhow, I think I’ll do what everyone else does, wait till the damn general release comes out, THEN I’ll play with it! ๐
Anyone got a dunce cap, that I can barrow? Anyone?
Update: Oy, I even tried a second time. I dunno what the hell is wrong. I tried asking over in the Wp-Testers and best they could do is suggest commenting out some code in the new version. So, I said, “Fuck it!” and ended up doing a reinstall from Fantasico and upgraded back to 2.6.3. Needless, to say, I don’t agree well with Beta versions. Arrrgh! It’s enough to make me want to Punch a damn hippie! ๐ก Needless to say, no more filly fartin’ around with the blog! Back to blogging! ๐
Before someone else finds it and I become the next new big thingโฆ
Itโs a video of me, trying to explain to Scribefire Tech Support, that their program is not working properly. As you can see, Iโm not the greatest video director in the world. The video was shot on a Kodak EasyShare C613
Hey, itโs not Pajama’s Media, but itโs a start. I think.

The shadow campaign? Did you know there is another whole election campaign going on right under your nose? In another language?
Is America Balkanizing? We take a look.
100% Preventable! Americans continue to pay the bloody price for open borders. In this edition elderly Americans are preyed on by an illegal alien while a previously deported drug dealer shoots two NYC cops! When will the madness end?

Itโs not everyday that I try stuff that other people recommend. But in this case. I made an exception.
Captain Ed over at Hotair.com reported that there is a nice RSS reader out called RSSOwl. Now, most RSS readers that I have tried, Iโve ended up tossing, usually because the idiot that designed it, usually did not have people like me in mind. Well, it seems someone out there had bloggers like me in mind. (for a change!)
The reason I grabbed it. Is because iGoogle recently turned into a big smelly bucket of SUCK! In English, that means that they redesigned it, and I hated it. ()
Anyhow, so, if youโre a RSS reading maniac like me. Give RSSOwl a whirl.
Now, because Iโm honest. Iโll give you the stuff that I donโt like about it. It has no installer. You pick where you want to run it and it goes there. Some people need installers. I donโt, but some do.
Other than that. Itโs a great program.
I can guess that you know what Iโm up to here for a little while. moving RSS feeds from iGoogle to this RSS reader. Itโs not hard, just time consuming!
I was chatting with Greg from Rhymes with Right. I guess he took on some serious water down there in Texas during hurricane Ike. Of course, our wonderful Government which olโ โBarryโ wants to expand, is dragging their feet with his claim.
If you all can spare a little, head on over and click on his paypal box and send a little to him. He could really use the help, cause every little extra helps.
