The left is trying to silence their opponents and their competitors in the public marketplace of ideas… One issue in which the ethnocentric issue groups have been trying to silence me is on the issue of illegal immigration. Many of those, if you will, have migrated to me here recently because I, even though I said I believe the President is a citizen of the United States, I don’t understand why he shouldn’t produce a birth certificate. My God, you’re talking about the third rail of American journalism, baby! That’s it. I’m not going to back off. […]
And teabagging queen Rachel Maddow over at MSNBC, she wanted another shot so apparently she twisted, she tried to twist my words. She ignored my statements on the issue. In other words, she was not being intellectually honest. Imagine that. […]
She lied. I never said I’m a ‘birther.’ I’m not. I don’t know how many times I’ve said, ‘Barack Obama is a citizen of the United States. Why not release your birth certificate?’ What is the big deal with saying that?
Uh, Lou? There’s no way possible that Rachel Maddow could be a “Tea Bagging Queen”. You see, it’s because she’s a lesbian. She doesn’t put guy’s Balls in her mouth. She likes to, uh, “Eat at the Y” or likes to do the muff dive. Right Idea; just the wrong set of organs.
Pretty Lady, just not much into guys. It’s a shame, good waste of pussy really, when you get down to it. I mean, that’s a really nice package. Problem is, it’s not accepting deliveries and that my friends is a human tragedy.
Perhaps the biggest thing that stood out to us at President Obama’s AARP town hall yesterday was that the White House appears to be losing the message war on health care. How do we know? Just listen to the questions the AARP callers had. Several of them asked about “rumors,” and they also brought up GOP talking points on “rationing” or the government coming to your house to ask how you want to die (!!!). Also, Obama’s closing statement at the town hall was particularly telling. “Sometimes I get a little frustrated because this is one of those situations where it’s so obvious that the system we have isn’t working well for too many people and that we could just be doing better,” he said. “We’re not going to have a perfect health care system; it’s a complicated system, there are always going to be some problems out there. But we could be doing a lot better than we’re doing right now.”
MSNBC is a shill for the Democratic Party. This is totally evident by this posting and it title. Losing the message war? That implies that the American people are stupid and that the White House has to make it simple. Sorry guys, that is just insulting; which is why I do not watch your Network any longer. The fact is that most rational thinking Americans want affordable Health-care; but most sane rational thinking Americans do not want Government run Healthcare. Because they know that Government ran Health-care will result a terrible Health-care for the folks. It will maan rationing of medicine. It will mean a loss of our true American freedom to choose which doctor you can go to. It will mean the Government will tell you that you just need to die; all to save money. Impressed so far?
President Barack Obama is a far left socialist President and he wants Government ran Health-care. The folks do not want this and now the President is ticked off; because we Conservatives know the truth about his Communist modeled program, and we have been informing the people of the truth. This is upsetting the President and his socialist minions, who are on an agenda to destory America. Plus, the Blue Dogs in his own damned party are standing up and saying, “Whoa, Wait a minute here!” That is because they know that our Nation’s economy is in the stinking toilet and they know that this sort of institutionalized Healthcare will a disaster for our Nation’s Economy; and they do not want to painted as the Party that destroyed Americans Economy.
Now, I know what some Moonbat liberal is thinking reading this. —- “That guy is most likely rich and can afford his own health-care…” If I were as rich as some have a accused me of being on this blog. I would retire now and live high on the proverbial hog. Guys, I have less than $100.00 in my checking account right now. This Blog is my living. I have NO HEALTH-CARE INSURANCE AT ALL! But do I want to start taking Governmental Healthcare insurance? Hell No! Because for one, I do not want some Government appointed panel deciding what sort of treatments or care that I should get. I believe in the private markets! Two; I really understand how Government works and how SLOW it can be and how terrible the healthcare system is for the Vets, and for those on Medicaid and Medicare. Plus I have, unlike this Rich Limousine Liberals, I have actually went to the secretary of State office, during the week. Ever do that before? That will be what Government health-care will be like.
Hopefully, this bill will die and Congress and hopefully President Obama will, to use a liberal Phrase; Move on.
While the world was watching the conflict in Iran, MSNBC was showing you cop video and convicts. When they did bother to take a stab at it, they offered the usual political hacks arguing and vomiting talking points.
OK, they bill themselves as “The Place for Politics.” They never said they were a source of news. But they disgraced themselves this weekend by ignoring the biggest story in the world.
And when I turned them on this morning, I compared the beet-faced Joe Scarborough and his meanness to the voice of a nineteen year-old Iranian woman live on CNN who had been beaten and was in the middle of a war.
All of a sudden MSNBC fell off the map. Even Fox was better. Even Fox.
When you lose someone from The Huffington Post; you’ve lost America. This person and others that are beginning to feel this way, are feeling the same way I; and everyone else on the right are feeling. It’s the feeling that MSNBC is not interested in facts or journalism, but rather to spread Obama’s message. That MSNBC is in the tank for the Obama Administration.
Looks like Bill O’Reilly has been vindicated, he was right all along. MSNBC and General Electric have an agenda. They’re looking for contracts with the Government and they are using MSNBC is thier tool. In the end, it will cost them; very dearly. You cannot scowl at your viewers, call them racists and hillbillies and expect to keep a viewership long. Further more, you cannot yowl talking points over and over and over, and lie to the American people; it does catch up, after a while.
Not long ago, some libertarians were hailing Keith Olbermann because he attacked George W. Bush (correctly) and his wars. Today, we do not see Olbermann complaining about these wars, now that his people are in the White House. Unfortunately, we libertarians are learning a hard lesson once again; the Left is not anti-war. Instead, the Left is against war when leftists believe that wars consume too many resources that could be used in the government’s war against peaceful, private exachange. However, we see that today, Obama’s government is engaged in war both at home and abroad. Olbermann is a big supporter (as is Michael Moore).
Bill, that’s because Olbermann is kind of green when it comes to politics. The dude is a sportscaster for Christ’s sake. What do you expect?
Has Olbermann uttered one word against Obama’s war?
Well, if you consider the heavy sighing and hand wringing that he’s now doing; as a word against the Obama Administration and the war that now belongs to them. Yes, He has. But seriously; Olbermann is quite the partisan. To her credit, Rachel Maddow is not. But Keith? Oh Yes, quite partisan. To his credit, Olbermann did his fair share of screaming about Bush Administration’s Wilsonian foreign policies. But now that the Obama Administration is in there. It’s a whole other ball game at MSNBC HQ. I mean, Tucker Carlson even left. What does that tell you?
“More and more the timeline is raising the question of why, if the torture was to prevent terrorist attacks, it seemed to happen mainly during the period when the Bush crowd was looking for what was essentially political information to justify the invasion of Iraq.”

All Dowd did was change “we were” to “the Bush crowd was”.
Now, I’m all for cutting & pasting. As a blogger I do it all the time, but I always give credit.
So, if this isn’t outright plagiarism by a top NY Times Editorialist, than I’m a happily married, straight man with 4 kids, 2 dogs, a lovely 2nd wife of 15 years with a girl half my age on the side.
Which I assure you all, I am not.
Josh has a valid point. When we bloggers use content from other sites, or we copy something, we ALWAYS; well unless someone’s being an prick or something like that, credit the original source and link to that source article. Like I did this piece. What Dowd did was totally unprofessional and just plain rude. Of course, when called on it; Dowd is in full backward cat crawl mode:
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, in an email to Huffington Post, admits that a paragraph in her Sunday column was lifted from Talking Points Memo editor Josh Marshall’s blog last Thursday.
Dowd claims that she never read his blog last week but was told the line by a friend of hers. In a follow-up email, she forwarded her desire to apologize to Marshall, writing that had she known, she would have gladly credited Marshall.
josh is right. I didn’t read his blog last week, and didn’t have any idea he had made that point until you informed me just now. i was talking to a friend of mine Friday about what I was writing who suggested I make this point, expressing it in a cogent — and I assumed spontaneous — way and I wanted to weave the idea into my column. but, clearly, my friend must have read josh marshall without mentioning that to me. we’re fixing it on the web, to give josh credit, and will include a note, as well as a formal correction tomorrow.
Oh Yeah, the old “I got it from a Friend” line…. Josh chimes in here:
Indeed. Dowd got busted and now she’s trying to walk it back. She’ll be either fired or will take vacation till the heat blows over…. or at wost, end up as lackey over at MSNBC with the rest of the Plagiarizing idiots. (You know who I mean… I hope.)
Boy. Take a break from Blogging and all the cool stuff happens. Wow! 😮
I swear, someone over at Olbermann Watch and possibly those over at HotAir must have been reading my mind last night. Yes, I did see the segment, when it aired and I thought, “Wait a Minute!”
Yes, that’s right, I called Ed Schultz an asshole. There are blue dog Democrats, or as they’re also called, Democrats who still love the spirit of America and then there are assholes like this guy. Well, I guess MSNBC, or as it now called MSDNC; is supposedly courting this loose cannon. Wonderful. As if that network did not have enough Liberal blowhards on there already. 🙄
The Observer has learned that MSNBC president Phil Griffin is in discussions with syndicated talk radio host Ed Schultz about possibly joining the network on a full-time basis. It is unclear what exactly the job would entail should Mr. Schultz and MSNBC come to an agreement.
On March 10, Mr. Schultz, who bills himself as the “most listened-to progressive radio talk show host in America,” guest-hosted on MSNBC’s 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. As The Observer reported at the time, the appearance touched off a wave of rumors among MSNBC staffers that Mr. Schultz was being groomed to join the network as an anchor.
Eight days later, on Wednesday, March 18, Mr. Schultz was back in the anchor chair, again, filling in for David Shuster on the 6 p.m. show.
One network source told The Observer that an offer has already been extended to Mr. Schultz. A network spokesperson denied that any offer has been made.
When reached by phone on Friday morning, Mr. Schultz also denied that Mr. Griffin had made him an offer. He said that he had received some kind words from MSNBC management on the heels of his guest-hosting gigs. But, according to Mr. Schultz, MSNBC brass has given him no definite word yet about his future—if he has one—at the cable news network.
I can tell you right now, I can handle Chris Matthews, I can handle Shuster, and I can even; believe it or not, handle Olbermann. But this idiot, no way, no how, not on your best day. He is nothing more than a loose cannon, who parrots the damned talking points of the far left. Yeah, kind of like Olbermann. But at least Olbermann has a polish to his act. Schultz comes off as some drunken rabble-rouser in a bar; you know, the kind that you usually had to kick the crap out of, to get him to leave you alone? Yeah, he is that kind of an guy.
Let me put it to you this way; I would rather be strapped to a chair and forced to listen to Sean Hannity sing or that one idiot who sung “Let the eagle soar”; over and over and over, before I’d want to listen to Schultz. Yes, he is that annoying.
