The Public School System is going to hell in a hand-basket, as always.

I have no words for this one folks, not one:

Video:

The Story:

Parents of children attending a Red Hook, New York, middle school are outraged after a recent anti-bullying presentation at Linden Avenue Middle School.

The workshop for 13 and 14-year-old girls focused on homosexuality and gender identity. They were also taught words such as “pansexual” and “genderqueer.”

Parents say their daughters were told to ask one another for a kiss and they say two girls were told to stand in front of the class and pretend they were lesbians on a date.

“She told me, ‘Mom we all get teased and picked on enough. Now I’m going to be called a lesbian because I had to ask another girl if I could kiss her,'” parent, Mandy Coon, told reporters.

Coon says parents were given no warning about the presentation and there was no opportunity to opt-out. Both the school principal and the district superintendent are defending the workshops and advising they will schedule more.

“The school is overstepping its bounds in not notifying parents first and giving us the choice,” another parent said. “I thought it was very inappropriate. That kind of instruction is best left up to the parents.”

“I was absolutely furious — really furious,” a parent who asked to remain anonymous told reporter Todd Starnes, “These are just kids. I’m dumbfounded that they found this class was appropriate.”

Superintendent Paul Finch told The Poughkeepsie Journal the presentation was “focused on improving culture, relationships, communication and self-perceptions.”

“We may require more notification to parents in the future,” Finch said

One simply word comes to mind: Unbelievable. One word folks: Home-School. I did it, and so should every parent today. Because the public school system has just become too evil to send your children to it anymore.

Special Comment: Wars are not an excuse for murder

This is one of those special comments that I really should not have to write. However, because I feel that, some might actually think, that I actually agree with the actions of these terrorists and with the reasoning for committing these acts of violence — I am writing this to clear up any and all misunderstandings that some might have about my stance on this act of cowardice.

As some of you might know, I am not a Neoconservative. I disagreed with President Bush’s decision to invade the Nation of Iraq in 2003. I am, in fact, a Paleoconservative with leanings of the libertarian sort. I am well aware of the fact that some Paleoconservatives and Libertarian types feel that America somehow or another; because of the foreign policy blunders of the past, deserves these terrorists attacks. Let me publicly state that I happen to disagree with that sort of mentality. It is anti-American, it is hateful and it is UnChristlike, if there ever was such a thing.

I also happen to know the philosophy of the Islamic religion; which basically is, that anyone that is not a Muslim, is an infidel and the Muslim religion does say that Muslims are to wage Jihad against those who are not converts to that backward Religion of war —- hence my issue, as a Christian, with that Religion.

Let me state emphatically that any Religion that tells you that killing an innocent 8-year-old boy is somehow or another justified, because of the actions of a Government that said 8-year-old boy has no control over or no say in what they do — that religion has a serious problem. There is a thing called morality and I still do happen to believe in that sort of a thing. I know what our Government is doing in foreign lands and I wish we as Americans could change that; but I refuse to believe that killing an 8-year-old boy is somehow a moral equivalent. Anyone who believes that sort of stupidity is well beyond the realm of normal cynicism.  In fact, I believe that this sort of mentality is reprehensible.

I also happen to notice that the elder terrorist, who is now deceased, was collecting welfare benefits. This is ironic, seeing that the taxpayers who fund those welfare benefits are the very people that were his targets for his bombs. This speaks volumes of the hypocrisy of the radical Muslims.

Another thing that very much annoys me is the statement by the United Nations, that somehow or another the United States had it coming —- seriously? Who asked those nitwits anyhow? Even more reason for the United States of America to withdraw from the United Nations and send them packing to somewhere, like maybe Switzerland or maybe Cuba with the rest of the Communists. Let me also say that anyone who would disagree with what I just wrote about the United Nations would either be a leftist, an Anti-American dolt or both — most are both.

In closing: This is not a call for all Muslims to be deported or any sort of nonsense like that; this is simply a plea from an American Christian to the American and International Muslim communities to stand up against these radicals and denounce what they do and take stand against them. However, because I am a realist, I happen to know that this will never happen. This is because of that fact that, in the Muslim Nations around the world — if a Muslim speaks out against the Muslim of the radical sort, they run the risk of killed for doing so. So far, here in America that is not the case. However, there are those who are pushing for Sharia Law here in America. So far, those efforts have been rebuffed. Here is hoping that this continues to be the case —- for our sakes as American Christians.

Pictures from the Boston shootout with Russian Muslim Terrorists

Regardless of one’s opinions on what went on in Boston; this is some super scary stuff here.

One picture I will hotlink to is this one here:

Original caption reads: After shooting had stopped my roommate found a bullet hole that penetrated his west-facing wall and continued to pierce through his desk chair. His room is on the 2nd floor corner of the house, closest to the street, with west and south facing walls

Put yourself in this guy’s shoes for one second. Scary ain’t it? 😯

The Monday Night Music Express – Special Memorial Edition presents: Richie Havens

He was the one, who opened Woodstock 1969 and now, He is with Jimi, Janis and the rest.

Here is Rich Havens talking about his Woodstock 1969 performance:

The Story:

NEW YORK (AP) — Richie Havens, the folk singer and guitarist who was the first performer at Woodstock, died Monday at age 72.

Havens died of a heart attack in New Jersey, his family said in a statement. He was born in Brooklyn.

Havens was known for his crafty guitar work and cover songs, including his well-received cover of Bob Dylan’s “Just Like a Woman.”

His performance at the three-day 1969 Woodstock Festival, where headliners included Jimi Hendrix, was a turning point in his career. He was the first act to hit the stage, performing for nearly three hours. His performance of “Freedom,” based from the spiritual “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child,” became an anthem.

Havens returned to the site during Woodstock’s 40th anniversary in 2009.

“Everything in my life, and so many others, is attached to that train,” he said in an interview that year with The Associated Press.

Woodstock remains one of the events that continues to define the 1960s in the popular imagination. Performers included The Who, Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and dozens of others, and the trippy anarchy of Woodstock has become legendary. There was lots of nudity, casual sex, dirty dancing and open drug use. The stage announcer famously warned people to steer clear of the brown acid.

Havens had originally been scheduled to go on fifth but had been bumped up because of travel delays. Festival producer Michael Lang said in the book “The Road to Woodstock” that he chose Havens “because of his calm but powerful demeanor.”

His performance lasted hours because the next act hadn’t showed up.

“So I’d go back and sing three more,” Havens said in an interview with NPR. “This happened six times. So I sung every song I knew.”

Havens’ website said that he had kidney surgery in 2010 and that he never recovered enough to perform concerts like he used to. He performed at Bill Clinton’s presidential inauguration in 1993. — NYT

More Via Guitar Player Magazine:

Folk music singer and guitarist Richie Havens, who opened the 1969 Woodstock music festival, died Monday, April 22, of a heart attack at his home in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was 72.

Havens, who retired from performing three years ago, toured for more than 40 years and recorded 30 albums. However, he’ll probably be best known as the opening act at the Woodstock Music and Art Fair, where he performed one of his most famous songs, “Freedom,” his own version of a spiritual called “Motherless Child.”

Actually, that day, Havens had no choice but to play every song he knew.

Scheduled fifth on the bill for the opening day of the Woodstock festival on August 15, 1969, Havens and his band were forced to go on early because other bands were busy fighting traffic on the way to the festival grounds in Bethel, New York.

“It was 5 o’clock and nothing was happening yet,” Havens told Billboard. “I had the least instruments (to set up on stage) and the least people (in his band).” Havens performed for 40 minutes. “I went back and did that, then it was, ‘Four more songs …,’ and that kept happening ’til two hours and 45 minutes later, I had sung every song I know.”

May he rest in peace. 🙁

Glenn Beck’s big thing, turns out to be a nothing-burger

As I so thought it would be…..

Remember I wrote about what I thought Glenn Beck was going to do?

Well, it turns out, I was right; it is nothing more than a nothing-burger.

Which basically means it was nothing more than factual information, stuff he was making up information from anonymous sources, and basically racially tinged conspiracy theory of the Alex Jones type that he seems to like to pull out of his ass. (As always…) Like the story of his Mother’s death for instance.

I give these people here some credit,  at least they are original, more than I can say for this mormon moron. 🙄

My question to Glenn Beck and the rest of these so-called right-wing patriots is this: Where exactly were you, when the Bush Administration was basically doing the same stuff and when they were failing the American people —– when 9/11 happened? I’ll tell you where, you were damned cheerleading the son-of-a-bitch, that’s what!

So, to Beck and rest; please, give it a damned break, your racist partisan witch hunt makes the right look like a bunch of damned idiots. Not that you or your friends really need any help in that department.

Video: Different Opinions on Boston Terror Attack

Perhaps I was a bit premature on Glenn Beck.

First from the “Token Libertarian Girl”.

The second video is quite interesting; he goes all in, accusing the FBI of a massive coverup.

The video: Via Mark Realmz on Twitter:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=WIEWUYebrrY

Personally, I really do not agree with the second video, the man is jumping to conclusions. Kinda like I might have done with this blog entry here —- maybe.

Either way, it is interesting to see that Americans are waking up to the fact that our Government is becoming more and more of police state everyday. I just hope that there is something to the accusation of the second video and of Glenn Beck’s accusation. Because the last thing we need, as a movement of patriots; is to be discredited.

The day that Glenn Beck crossed over into “ignore this crank” territory.

….with me anyhow…..

I admit it, I actually used to respect Glenn Beck; his teachings on the socialist left, when he was with Fox News Channel was invaluable to me. I used to love the Chalkboard thing. I even checked to see, using various sources; to see if he was right or not; and, most of the time, he was absolutely correct in what he told the American people. Which is why, I believe, that Glenn Beck is no longer on Fox News Channel.

However, today, Glenn Beck lurched into what I like to call, “Alex Jones territory”.

youtube placeholder image

The Story via RightWingWatch:

Near the end of today’s radio broadcast, Glenn Beck declared that the cover-up of the Saudi link to the Boston Marathon bombing makes this the second most important thing (behind 9/11) that he has ever covered in his broadcasting career.  And depending on how the media and the government responds in the coming days, it just might be the most important thing he’s ever covered because the response “will either save our country or we will be done.”

Beck then went on to send a semi-coded message to those in the upper level of the government warning that they had better come clean about this Saudi national because The Blaze has information that reveals that he “is a very bad, bad, bad man” which will be revealed on Monday.

“I don’t bluff,” Beck stated, “I make promises. The truth matters. I’ve had enough of what you’ve done to our country. I thought I had heard and seen it all.  I thought I didn’t trust my government.  Oh no, no, no.  There is no depth that these people will not stoop to.  They have until Monday and then The Blaze will expose it.”

 Crooks and Liars observes:

This conspiracy theory comes out of the rumors emerging about the Saudi national who was fingered by the media on Monday after the bombings and later found not to be a suspect. Beck and his pals have decided there’s a coverup because he has some kind of relationship to the Benghazi tragedy in September.

This is little more than an attempt to use the current tragedy to flog the past because it works politically for the extreme right wing. They can link up scary brown people with Russians! Because…scary.

It’s cynical, it’s ugly and it’s vintage Glenn Beck.

I agree with above; I noticed that towards the end of Glenn’s time at Fox News Channel, that he started sounding like a Mormon Alex Jones.  It did bother me, quite a bit. So, I am going to tell the right, just like I told the left —- if the Republican Party believes that Glenn Beck should be the Vis-à-vis mouthpiece of the Republican Party, when it comes to Barack Obama; then they can basically forget about me voting for them ever again.

I will be the first to admit, I do not like Barack Obama, I disagree with his politics: but to blatantly accuse the Obama Administration of a blatant coverup and/or accusing the Government of the United States of America of intentionally blowing up its own people —- for the sole damned purposes of furthering a Conservative/far right-wing/tea party/racist  (pick a word…)  meme that somehow or another President Obama is a pseudo-Muslim — is, I am afraid, a bridge too far for this writer.

It amazes me greatly, that the Republican Party and the Conservative movement as a whole, spends a great deal of  time, effort, money, ink and yes, bandwidth to prove to the liberal left that they are not racist bigots. However, every time it seems that they are making ground in that department; someone, like this nitwit here; does something so incredibly asinine that the line of, “Oh, we’re not racist!”  becomes so very incredibly hard to believe. If anyone would know about the racist history of the Democratic Party; it would be me; what saddens me  is that the Conservative movement as a whole, is getting closer and closer to that very state of the Democratic Party of the 1950’s.

Believe me when it tell you this; it pains me, like nothing else, to actually have to write this about the Conservative movement. I came on board to this movement, which predated the “Tea Party” movement by a couple of years. After my original blog was hacked in 2007 and I basically saw that the Democratic Party was simply not the party that I remembered back in the 1990’s and after it seemed as if the Democratic Party was lurching more and more to the left. I decided to make a change and start writing against the wrongs that I saw in that Party. I was not, nor had I ever been, a Republican; or even a “right-winger.” I was a Christian man, who grew up with a sense of morality and of values. I do not always act like such as person; but, I know my heart and I know my God.

This why that this sort of idiotic nonsense by Glenn Beck is not only idiotic and “Alex Jones” sounding; it is immorally racist to the core. If there was a Democratic Party President in office, who happened to be a man with white skin; none of this stupidity would be happening at all. Oh sure, there would be the idiotic nonsense of the “WorldNetDaily” crowd, like there was in 1990’s, with Bill Clinton. However, this goes to another level entirely. Basically, the Conservative Movement as a whole; whether nuanced or directly —-  in the case of President Obama —- is accusing the Nation’s first black President of being a secret Muslim and of supporting terrorism; and even of being in cahoots with Al-Qaeda or some other Muslim Terrorist boogeyman organization that they pull out of their butts — to carry out terrorist attacks in this Country —- and this, my friend is just unacceptable in my opinion.

We can do better than this; The Conservative Movement, those who believe in liberty and America in General. We can disagree on politics and not stoop to this level, there is no call for it at all.

Remember Conservatives: 2014 and 2016 looms near — lets not blow it again.

The latest on the Boston Bombers, They’re Chechen and Brothers

One suspect is dead and the other is on the loose.

HotAir.com is good coverage here, here, here, here and here

Fox News, NBC.COM and CNN are covering as well.

Blogger round up is here

Twitter is blowing up! (sorry, it’s an expression. 😛 )

Daniel Larson at The American Conservative notes the following:

So what to make of this? Based on initial reports, it appears that this was an attack launched by two brothers whose religious and political views were radicalized in part by their experience of fleeing their home because of the Chechen wars and partly through their sympathy with and interest in jihadist propaganda online. According to Haaretz, the younger Tsarnaev’s website expressed his identification with Islam and Chechen independence. Why they would choose the marathon of all things as their target isn’t entirely clear, but presumably it offered them an opportunity to harm as many people at once as possible in a high-profile way. What they hoped to achieve beyond notoriety and mayhem isn’t known, but perhaps that was enough for them.

[….]

When our own law enforcement and intelligence agencies were completely unaware of a plot unfolding here in the U.S., it seems doubtful that Russia would have been able to alert us to these specific attackers when these men have been outside Russia for over a decade. Cooperation with Russia in counter-terrorism is valuable, and as a general rule I think antagonizing Russia is a pointless and destructive way to handle the relationship. However, I don’t see how Russian cooperation would have made any difference in this case. Russian help might be useful in determining whether or not there are any links between the Tsarnaevs and some group in the North Caucasus, but for now there wouldn’t appear to be any obvious implications for Russia policy here.

As for the “vindication of Putin,” I don’t think that holds up very well, either. Russian policy in the North Caucasus has been and remains brutal and repressive, and the Kremlin’s brutality contributed to transforming what was originally a separatist struggle into a jihadist cause. Insofar as the second Chechen war contributed to the Tsarnaevs’ willingness to engage in terrorism, the Boston bombings are a delayed form of blowback from Putin’s war. Obviously, none of that excuses the atrocities that Chechen terrorists have carried out over the years, but it is important to remember this in order to understand why Chechnya became a magnet for jihadists and why Chechens driven out of the region would be drawn to jihadism. In the case of the Tsarnaevs, it appears that the Chechen wars may be part of the explanation for their radicalization, but they are not the whole story.

As I have and did say before; everything happens for a reason. Something set these two off.

Another good reason why I do not vote Democratic Party any longer

Because nothing says asshole and anti-American more than taking a horrible tragic event and using it to score a pathetic political point.

If the tables were turned and this event happened in a LIBERAL part of the Country and a Conservative or libertarian, like myself, printed such tripe; we would be excoriated from one end of the blogosphere to the other. Not to mention the media!  However, because explosion happened in Texas, which is Rick Perry country, and it is printed on a Liberal rag blog; it is business as usual.

Here, go read this idiot’s tripe and go let him know what you think about it.

Quote:

Google Maps satellite view of West Fertilizer and its proximity to West Middle School, along with many houses and apartments.

Who needs pesky safety regulations or zoning laws when there is money to made running a fertilizer plant? Sadly, the small Texas town of West, which is just north of Waco, is suffering the consequences of unregulated free enterprise today, as a massive explosion at West Fertilizer has leveled much of the town. Perhaps the only remotely fortunate aspect of this tragedy is that it occurred at 8 pm local time and so West Middle School, which burned after the explosion, was not full of children.

A look at the satellite image above shows the folly of putting “free enterprise” ahead of sensible zoning laws. At almost 20 miles north of Waco, Texas, one thing that is in abundance in the region is open space (I’ve driven past this spot several times in the last two or three years–it’s desolate), and yet this fertilizer plant is immediately adjacent to a large apartment building (see the photo at the top of this article for how that building fared in the explosion) and very close to a middle school. There is no reason at all for any other building to be within two or three miles of a facility that produces material that is so explosive.

For the record, this blog used to be hosted by some hate-mongering, blonde, bimbo, bitch; who wrote some screen play to a movie that hit it big back in the 1990’s. That is her claim to fame; and with that money, she started this blog. It is filled with hate-mongers like this woman here and an Anti-Semite Italian idiot, who is named TBogg AKA Tom Boggioni; whom I have went after before, because of his hate-mongering shit on that site. It now appears that this woman, is no longer with them; gee, I wonder why? 🙄

I am just going to say it to these idiots and the people who read those blogs; fellas it’s like this here — you are NOT doing your Party any favors for 2014 and 2016. I am an independent blogger and voter; I vote the issues and the person’s ability to lead the Country. Your man up in the White House, he ain’t worth a shit! Which is why I did not vote for him, either damned time. However, my vote is up for grabs in 2014 and 2016. I think you need to think long and very hard about doing dumb shit like this and you want to know why?  Because there are many, many undecided voters out there, that see stuff like this; especially in Texas, and they see what you write.

This is doing zero for your chances in 2014 and 2016. Simply put, you are on the wrong side of this issue and I think you need to reconsider the mocking of an accident that claimed the lives of that many people and injured that many people. It is lame, it is stupid and it will not do anything for you in the upcoming elections. Now, you can ignore me, all you want to; I really do not care. But, I happen to know a bit about this political game; and I have been right before. I suggest that you pull that posting and post and huge apology to those who you have offended, especially the Democratic Party of Texas; which is one of your bigger voting blocs by the way.
