Very well put. Applause

Fiscal Cliff coming, Libs holler “Jump!”

Personal note: Yeah, I am up earlier than normal. I was rousted by people walking in the kitchen, which is right above my room here in the basement. The joys of living with people. Rolling Eyes I’ll be tired later, that is for sure. SleepyYawn

So, we have this fiscal cliff coming right? Well, guess who is hollering, “Jump!”? Well, it is not the Republicans.

Investors Business Daily reports:

Budget Talks: If President Obama wants to get a deficit deal done to avoid the fiscal cliff, his biggest challenge won’t be Republicans, but his own hard-core left-wing supporters.

Two days after the election, Obama’s favorite economist, Paul Krugman, set the tone for the intransigent left in a column titled: "Let’s not make a deal." Boiled down, his advice to Obama was this: Don’t give in to any Republican demands, even if doing so would "inflict damage on a still-shaky economy." After all, Obama would be better positioned to "weather any blowback from economic troubles."

Krugman’s advice may be disturbingly cold and calculating, but he has plenty of company on the left.

Robert Kuttner, co-founder of the liberal American Prospect magazine, suggests Obama should just sit it out, let all the Bush tax cuts expire, the automatic spending cuts kick in and expect public pressure to force Republicans to give in entirely.

The left-wing Daily Kos called any kind of "grand bargain" between Obama and the GOP a "Great Betrayal."

And several Democratic lawmakers have suggested that the correct approach would be to let the country go over the fiscal cliff, since that will only strengthen Obama’s position. "It’s a hand Democrats are looking forward to playing," according to the liberal Huffington Post "news" site.

And Republicans are supposed to be the ones who refuse to compromise?

What has liberals freaked out is the fact that any deal with Republicans will likely include cuts to their cherished entitlement programs.

Obama had reportedly agreed to make some modest changes to these programs when he and House Speaker John Boehner were working on their "grand bargain" last summer. And the left wants to avoid that from happening again, at all costs.

The Washington Post says unions and other liberal groups "are mobilizing to oppose concessions they fear (Obama) could make on Medicare and Social Security."

The left’s attempt to sabotage any deficit deal is somewhat understandable. After all, their man won. Why should they now have to swallow any spending cuts?

Unreal. This comes via Instapundit, who remarks:

Especially since, no matter what, the press apparat will blame the GOP.

Not only that, but I am convinced, like Glenn Beck; that this is what the Democrats want, they want the existing system to crash and burn. This is so that they can install a European style of socialist Government here. This is what they have wanted to do for years. But the right conditions were never in place; and they have finally gotten them handed to them on a golden platter. The sick and sad part is, because of the lousy leadership in the house; the Republicans will give them whatever they want, in the name of bipartisanship.

Because of that, America is about to lose, and lose big.

Time to start being a jerk

Seeing there is an influx of liberal idiots who seem to like to troll my blog. I have decided to enable comment moderation on this blog, until further notice.

As a well-known blogger would say: You want to spout stupid liberal nonsense and act like an idiot troll???  if so, then:

GO START YOUR OWN BLOG!

Idiots. They just cannot be happy with winning the election, they have to go around and act like a-holes too. So, I’m closing the gate, until the idiots find something or someone else to do.

I really do not know, if it is related to this idiot’s incoming link or what, and I really do not care.  But, they are not coming here and taking over; sorry, not while I pay for the hosting or any other time either.

We now return you to our regular scheduled programming.

Well, Look what I found!

Remember that clown Ed Brayton, that I blogged about earlier?

Looks like someone has already beat me to the punch. Someone sent me this link, I guess someone else has an ax to grind with Ed too.

Checkout “Ed Brayton Exposed

Before anyone makes an accusation, I have zero to do with that site. I got an e-mail from an anonymous remailer with the web address.

This is why I never go after people like that anymore. Because sooner or later; it all catches up.

I cannot honestly say that I am displeased that Ed finally got what was coming to him, for a very long time, I might add.

Hey Ed, if you need a place to run to; I can name a few — or maybe not. 😛

I agree, sort of

Bill, I agree. Kind of.

I don’t much get into the “Christian America” thing. Because it, to me; is a Christian version of shariah law.

I also agree that the “Christian Right’s” revision of history to suit a narrative is off-putting.

America is a Constitutional Republic. It’s founders acknowledged God. They were not Bible-thumpers, like we have today. In fact, most Christians during that period, avoided politics, like the plague. Which they should do now.

As for whom you are debating with; he’s nothing more than pompous jerk.  It seems that He and Ace over at the Spades HQ seem to have this real Anti-Christian, Anti-Heartland Conservative bias about them. Never did like it; so, I tend to avoid them.

Just my opinion.

Good luck with that!

From marketwatch:

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — A council of federal regulators charged with identifying risks to the financial system unanimously voted Tuesday to introduce three proposals urging the Securities and Exchange Commission to impose new regulations on the $2.7 trillion money-market fund industry.

Good luck with all that. There are too many people; left and right making serious millions with the flawed system.

So, don’t expect any changes like this.
