Taking a break

I have decided to take the next few days off from blogging. Unless major news breaks, I will return to blogging on Monday or Tuesday.

I have decided to do this for a few reasons. When I decided to get into blogging back to in 2006; it was not about me, at all, it was about blogging against what I felt was wrong. I still feel that is the case, however my enemies seem intent on making my blogging about me. This is not something I really like, and it tends to get on my nerves.

I also find it pretty ironic, that someone who claims to believe in free market principles; makes it his personal mission to destroy those who disagree with his idiotic, warped worldviews. You know who you are, you fat bastard freak. I hope you drop dead of a heart attack and a stoke too. I would not shed a tear, and I would, in fact, come up there and piss and crap on your grave. I mean that in the most Christian way I can muster, you fat freak chump. 😡

Plus too, I am getting tired of aggregating the news. It gets old, telling the same old, some old, over and over and over. Having an opinion is great — repeating yourself over and over and over… sucks.

I am angry, and to be quite honest; a bit bored of it all.

I will be back Monday, sometime or Tuesday; depending on how I feel then. If not, when I’m ready.

Until then, I got better things to do, than this.

Shooting themselves in the foot

No, it is not the Republicans, not this time.

First check out this video via NBCNews.com, where a Republican and a Democrat actually agree on a bunch of things:

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Did you watch the video? Sounds great and nice doesn’t it? Well, someone needs to give this woman the Memo:

Via the Hill, another Democratic Party instance of one hand, not knowing with the other is doing:

Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) confirmed Thursday that she will seek the chairmanship of the Senate Budget Committee next year but told The Hill that she cannot commit to doing a budget.

This opens up the possibility that Senate Democrats will avoiding passing a budget resolution for the fourth year in a row.

The last time the Senate passed a standalone budget resolution was in 2009. This past year, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said a budget was not necessary because the top-line spending number for appropriations was set in the August 2011 debt-ceiling deal.

Murray said that an agreement to avoid the “fiscal cliff,” the looming $600 billion in tax increases and spending cuts set to strike in January, could preclude having to pass a Senate budget next year.

“I am committed to working with our committee and with our Congress to put a budget in place but there are a lot of questions in front of us: What happens in the next two weeks, six weeks, year? Does the White House and the leadership come together on some solution to the budget that we have right now that precludes a budget being written next year?” she said. “I have no idea.”

Honestly, how the heck hard is it to pass a budget? I mean, everyone else in America has to live on a budget? You do, I do, everyone does! But yet, the Democrats, who are supposed to be the enlightened ones, over us knuckle-dragging Conservatives (Chuckle, snicker, grin) — cannot even pass a simple budget? Unbelievable.

But yet, we the Conservatives are the stupid party; we are the ones who believe in fiscal restraint and happen to believe in budgets and responsibility. But yet, the Democrats cannot even manage to pass a budget. As some idiot troll, who came here to insult me said, “It’s a Obama world!” Yeah, it is a Obama world alright; and you idiot Democrats now own this mess, no more blaming it on your predecessors anymore. You own it, now stand at the helm and watch as America goes in the abyss and be proud of what you did.

The Weimar Republic would be proud — very proud.

Reply to the idiot atheist

First of all, the site that I linked to is not mine at all; and your repeating the lie that it is, is not going to change that at all.

Second of all, in response to this here:

Relax, Pat. If you were anything but a lazy git sitting in his parents’ basement raging away at everyone, I might actually feel threatened by this. But I don’t. I’m amused by it. You’re just so cute when you ball up your little fists, stomp your little feet feet and let out a primal scream. It might be time for your mommy to change your diapers or bring down a pacifier.

[….]

And not being far too pathetic to do anything but rage incoherently on your website that makes a MySpace page look subtle and understated.

How pathetic and fifth grade can you get? He talks about projection? I think he needs to look up the word.

Video: Bill O’Reilly on Mitt Romney’s loss

(via NewsMax TV)

Bill O’Reilly’s Books:

You can get the rest of Bill O’Reilly’s books at the Blog Bookstore, and a number of other great titles available there as well. Just as well, you can shop at Amazon for ALL of your Christmas shopping needs , doing so keep this blog running and it’s owner happy! Thanks in Advance!

Also too, for those that do not like Bill O’Reilly, especially you on the right. You should be grateful for Mr. O’Reilly. If it were not for him; I would be still rooting for the left. I started watching Bill’s show, I would catch the repeat of the O’Reilly Factor at 11:00P.M. locally here, after watching Keith Olbermann’s show. I really began to notice that much of what the left would say about him, was nothing more than spin. Thus, I began watching Fox News and stopped watching MSNBC and Keith’s show. As a result of that, and much else; I am not firmly in the Conservative camp. (and proud of it too!)

Please note: Just clicking on the links above, does zero for the cause here on the blog. Buying does much. Also too; Legally, I have to tell my readers of this, clicking on the links above and buy products from these links; results in yours truly getting a small commission on said products at no extra cost to you. My rate of commission on all items is presently at 4%, and does increase as more people buy stuff.

National Review is full of bovine excrement

Another one via Bill Quick, that I think deserves a little attention.

National Review basically blames the entire Conservative grassroots for Mitt Romney’s loss:

The first thing conservatives should understand about the electoral catastrophe that just befell us — and it was a catastrophe — is that any explanation of it that centers on Mitt Romney is mistaken.

To which Bill Quick responds:

Because Mittens Romneycare was my preferred choice, and the first thing conservatives need to understand is that it is impossible that I could be mistaken.

Heh. I have to laugh. Good one Bill. 😀

Anyhow, Yes, I know; I voted for Romney. Because I was not about to vote for that other jackass, who won. However, I did not think that Mitt Romney was perfect candidate. Anyone who did think that Romney was the perfect candidate was absolutely crazy. Just like Bill said, Romneycare was his biggest problem, because of that and possibly because of bit of religious bigotry; the voter turnout was low this time around.

Plus too; I just believe that since Bush has left office, many people have just tuned politics out. I honestly do not believe people really care anymore. Except for maybe the politico types, like me, like Bill and the rest of us, who happen to run blogs and are addicted to this stuff. The rest of America just does not care anymore. I also think that the majority of Americans believe that both parties are so corrupted, that they honestly figure that no matter who you vote for, they are going to be corrupt.

Can we honestly change that? Probably not. Experience tells this 40-year-old geezer that most people have that idea set in their heads, and nothing anyone does will change that.  The best thing that the Republican Establishment can do, is get off of the moderate, George W. Bush, Wilsonian stupidity and begin to embrace true Conservative values, and actually run someone who can win. Else, they can continue to get their tails kicked in the elections.

It is their choice, and hopefully, they make a wise one.

Some idiot at TechCrunch is not pleased.

Wonder if they would feel the same way if Palestine were doing it? Even better, wonder if they would feel the same way, if Obama were doing it.

It is to wonder.

Update: Yes, I know what I posted here. There is a grand canyon of difference between pointing out a NeoCon’s idiocy and actually hating on Israel for defending themselves. Anyone that does not know the difference between the two; has no business being on the internet, much less reading blogs.

Also too, like I wrote before:

If you are Jewish, I have zero quarrels with you at all; but, please, if I happen to say something you do not like, SUCK IT UP and please, do not wave your damned yarmulke in my face, and call me a hater —-because if you do, I am going to tell you to kiss my ass.

I stand by that comment. I just do not respect, nor do I traffic in identity politics; left or right. I do not do it with the Blacks or Latinos; and I do not do it with the Jews, at all. I also happen to not be too fond of White Nationalists either. Because that too, is just another form of identity politics.  I believe in equal rights for ALL. Special privileges for NONE.  This includes with the wealthy. I could go on and on, but I think you all know what I mean here.

UPDATED: Israel actually defends itself

This could be big and this could be nothing.

Looks like Israel sent the leader of Hamas military wing to see his 7 virgins.

Via NYT:

GAZA — Israel on Wednesday launched one of the most ferocious assaults on Gaza since its invasion four years ago, hitting at least 20 targets in aerial attacks that killed the top military commander of Hamas, drew strong condemnation from Egypt and escalated the risks of a new war in the Middle East.

The Israelis coupled the intensity of the airstrikes with the threat of another ground invasion and warnings to all Hamas leaders in Gaza to stay out of sight or risk the same fate as the Hamas military commander, Ahmed al-Jabari, who was killed in a pinpoint airstrike as he was traveling by car down a Gaza street. “We recommend that no Hamas operatives, whether low level or senior leaders, show their faces above ground in the days ahead,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a Twitter message.

The ferocity of the airstrikes, which Israel called Operation “Pillar of Defense” in response to repeated rocket attacks by Gaza-based Palestinian militants, provoked rage in Gaza, where Hamas said the airstrikes amounted to war and promised a harsh response. It quickly launched dozens of rockets into southern Israel, including several that struck the city of Beersheba, shattering windows and damaging cars but causing no injuries.

Civil-defense authorities in Israel, anticipating retaliation, raised alert levels early in the day and told residents in southern Israel to take precautions. Many remained indoors or congregated in bomb shelters.

There is a live blog of what is happening on the ground over in Israel via Haaretz. I would not read too much into this; Israel is simply flexing its muscles at the Gaza strip. Because Hamas keeps firing rockets into Israel. I mean, Israel gives up land to these bastards; and what do they do? Fire missiles into Israel. So, yes, Israel is simply defending itself here. But, I do doubt that this will escalate into full on war. This has happened before; Hamas fires rockets, Israel bombs the crap out of them and Hamas retreats and begs them to stop and things are peaceful again, until the next time.

Of course, I could be, and I hope I am not — wrong about this; it could start another war. But, I doubt it. I like to assume the best, and pray for that as well.

One thing I will not do; and much of the right is doing this and it is wrong. I am not going to pin this on Obama. It is not Obama’s fault that Hamas is firing rockets into Israel. Obama is not superhuman, he cannot control what a bunch of stupid Arabs do in another Country. The best thing Obama can do about this little situation is stay the hell out of it; just like George W. Bush did the last time there was a flare up between the two parties.

Update: Chris Smith reminded me of something over on Google Plus. Egypt is threatening to get involved. Via Breitbart, who is, of course, blaming Obama, which is stupid:

Today, Egypt’s Freedom and Justice Party, the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood – a party formerly headed by current President Mohammed Morsi – announced that Egypt would get involved if Israel continued to kill terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Such Israeli action, said the party, would prompt “swift Arab and international action to stop the massacres.” The party also warned that Israel “must take into account the changes in the Arab region and especially Egypt … [Egypt] will not allow the Palestinians to be subjected to Israeli aggression, as in the past.”

The question now is whether the Obama administration will be able to prevent Egypt from attempting overt or covert intervention on behalf of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. If the United States leads from behind – or worse, if they show daylight with Israel – Israel’s security will be in grave danger. Even as dozens of rockets are fired at Israel, the Obama administration has yet to say anything. The Obama administration, by contrast, couldn’t shut up about a YouTube video even as Americans were slaughtered in Benghazi. And Obama continues to tout the Arab Spring as an awakening for freedom and liberty rather than for Islamism.

No wonder Israel’s neighbors in the north (Syria) and south (Gaza and Egypt) are getting aggressive. They have a friend in the White House.

Please keep in mind, that the writer of that, is a Jew and quite the smirking partisan hack, who blames everything on Obama — including the Weather. But, outside of that, the story about Egypt is legit. Also too, before anyone says anything to me; about me bringing up the fact that Ben is a Jew. Let me say this: If Ben does not mind being an a-hole partisan hack and blaming President Obama for everything, like most Jewish Neocons do. Then I do not mind bringing up his ethnic heritage for all to see. Personally, I am sick and tired of the NeoCons pounding Obama for every damned thing under the sun. They are, among many other reasons — the reason Mitt Romney lost the election, if you really want to be honest about it and I really do not mind reminding every one of that fact.
