The Obligatory Charles Freeman withdrawal from appointment posting

I think that this is a good thing, for a number of reasons.

Charles Freeman, the Obama administration’s choice to head the National Intelligence Council, has withdrawn from consideration after facing strong opposition from Senate Republicans.

Freeman is the latest in a string of Obama administration appointees and nominees to withdraw in the past few weeks.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) told The Hill that Freeman has withdrawn his nomination and that Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair agreed to accept the decision. Blair released a statement late Tuesday announcing Freeman’s decision.

The withdrawal came hours after Freeman agreed to testify before the Senate intelligence panel on Thursday to answer questions raised in recent days. All seven Republicans on the panel had sent a letter to Blair raising concerns about Freeman’s experience and objectivity.

Earlier on Tuesday Feinstein told The HIll she was keeping an open mind on Freeman’s appointment.

“I’ve talked to director Blair about it. Director Blair feels this is not a policy job, that he’s well qualified for what he wants him to do,” Feinstein said. “I feel presidents should have their choice if possible of appointments. I’ve read Mr. Freeman characterized in a number of different of ways. We’d like an opportunity to talk with him and get our own fix on these views. How strongly their held, whether in fact there is bias.”

Let me be absolutely clear, I am not a huge fan of the Evangelical Zionist crowd; whom are famous for thier doctrinal error and unholy alliances with unbelievers and unsaved, but to have someone who obviously was trying to blame Israel and America for the 9/11 attacks, was not very smart move by the Obama Administration.

So, in this case, yeah, I believe this was a good thing for this clown to remove his name for consideration. Maybe he will get a job with the American Free Press crowd, God knows, that is where he belongs. 🙄

Why I totally reject the so-called "Warning" from David Wilkerson

I noticed here as of lately that on WorldNetDaily, that David Wilkerson has issued a so-called “Warning” and advice to Christians everywhere about some so-called horrific event that is going to take place.

I want it to be known publicly, that I feel that David Wilkerson has had nothing more than an overactive imagination. Which is about all Pentecostals ever have.

I say this, because David Wilkerson is nothing more than a Pentecostal Christian, he is one of the many deluded Christians that possess the flawed belief system, that God is still speaking today, that healing was promised in the atonement, that “Speaking in tongues” is a legit belief system; despite that the fact that the Bible proves that very wrong.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a former Pentecostal, who came out of that silly bunch of nonsense, after 21 years, of watching that movement steadily veer towards liberal Christianity. I am now a Fundamentalist Christian, my doctrine is of the Baptist nature.

A Dutch MP who called the Koran a “fascist book” has been sent back to the Netherlands after attempting to defy a ban on entering the UK.

Freedom Party MP Geert Wilders had been invited to show his controversial film – which links the Islamic holy book to terrorism – in the UK’s House of Lords.

But Mr Wilders, who faces trial in his own country for inciting hatred, has been denied entry by the Home Office.

He told the BBC it was a “very sad day” for UK democracy.

The Dutch ambassador was also at Heathrow to make clear his government’s opposition to the ban on Mr Wilders entering the UK.

The Obama administration on Friday made an emergency contribution of more than $20 million for urgent relief efforts in the Gaza Strip, a day after the United Nations launched a flash appeal for $613 million to help Palestinians recover from Israel’s three-week military operation there.

The State Department said President Barack Obama had authorized the use of $20.3 million from the U.S. Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for humanitarian assistance to the 1.4 million Palestinians in Gaza.

The money will go to U.N. agencies and the International Committee of the Red Cross, which are distributing emergency food assistance, providing medical care and temporary shelter, creating temporary employment and restoring access to electricity and potable water, the department said in a statement.

The Israeli offensive killed nearly 1,300 Palestinians, including hundreds of civilians, and caused an estimated $2 billion in damage, Palestinian officials say. The assault was launched to halt years of Hamas rocket fire on southern Israel.

You want to know where this money is going to end up? In the hands of Hamas, the very terrorist organization that was attacking Israel, in the first place.  This money is supposed to be reserved for American Citizens, not for foreign countries!  You know, I find it absolutely amazing that the United States of America, would support a military attack on Gaza by Israel to defeat terrorists; only to have them send aid to the very people that Israel attacked. Not only this, our government is using money that is specifically earmarked for the people of the United States of America. This is an outrage! Someone should be complaining to the high Heavens about it!

The reason this outrages me so much is this; yeah, that money might go to American agencies approved by our Government, but ultimately, it will end up right back into the hands of the Hamas terrorists.

I will never understand why America continues to prop up those they claim are terrorists.

Former Obama Aid, Samantha Power to be appointed to Foreign Policy Job; at the White House

Yes, you read that correctly…:

Samantha Power, the Harvard University professor who earned notoriety for calling Hillary Rodham Clinton a “monster” while working to elect Barack Obama president, will take a senior foreign policy job at the White House, The Associated Press has learned.

Officials familiar with the decision say Obama has tapped Power to be senior director for multilateral affairs at the National Security Council, a job that will require close contact and potential travel with Clinton, who is now secretary of state. NSC staffers often accompany the secretary of state on foreign trips.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because Power’s position, as well as that of other senior NSC positions, have not yet been announced. One official said the announcements would be made in the near future.

White House officials would not provide details of Power’s new role.

Racist Anti-Semite Website Names Barack Obama Top 50 Loathsome People

It seems that the infamous Buffalo Beast is back in the news again. It seems that the website, named President Elect Barack Obama one of the top 50 most loathsome people.

I thought I would bring this back up again, because it warrants a reminder. This website is owned by a racist Anti-Semite by the name of Paul Fallon. This website also wrote a rather nasty screed by the title of “Fuck the Troops”, which prompted a rather angry response by myself. Which to this day, I feel no remorse for plastering this son of a bitch’s address, Phone number and personal email address on my other blog for the world to see.

Of course, when this little Anti-Semite asshole started feeling the heat, he proceeded to e-mail me and accuse me of being a Jew. (of course) Of which, I am not, I am of Southern Heritage. But just the same, whenever someone sticks up for the Military or supports Israel we’re automatically accused by people like Fallon, of being a Jew. He’s a real prize that Paul Fallon.

Some of us have not forgotten Paul, don’t think because Bush is out of office and Democrats are now in power that you’re now going to get a free pass, because you’re not, as long as I have a Blog and you publish something that makes the Meme trackers, I will continue to warn everyone of your Anti-Semitic ways and your hatred of the United States Military, who puts it’s ass on the line so haters like you can be free.

I’m sorry, But I cannot agree with Taki Either

Once again, I find myself in opposition with Paleo-Conservatives. It seems that a prominent Paleo-Conservative that has made a rather startling comment on his website, that has raised the ire of other Conservatives.

Taki Theodoracopulos made the following comment on his Blog:

In 2006, Israeli artillery fired a dawn barrage of shells, supposedly against militants in the Gazan village of Beit Hanoun. The guns missed. Seventeen members of a Palestinian family, the Athamnehs, died in their pajamas, cut to pieces by fragmenting 6-inch howitzer shells. The Israelis did not even issue an apology.

Of course, this elected a response by Lawrence Auster to remove his Blog from Taki’s Blogroll. Which I can understand, Lawrence Auster is in fact a Jewish man who converted to Christianity.  The reason why Taki is dead wrong on this issue is this; Taki must be ignorant of the facts. The facts are that Israel withdrew from the Gaza strip. They even allowed Fata to bring supplies through Israel’s border. Well, the people of Palestine voted out Fata and voted in Hamas, when this happened Hamas began smuggling weapons into the Gaza strip, and Israel closed the borders, and imposed a blockade on Gaza, because of the weapons smuggling.  Which is Israel’s right, Why should Hamas be allowed to mass weapons? Further more, Hamas was smuggling weapons in from Egypt, this is why those tunnels were destroyed.

Also Taki’s opinion that the Palestine is rightful owner of that land in which Israel exists is asinine at best. As a Born-Again Christian on 26 years and a very astute student of the Bible; I know for a fact, that the land in which Israel possesses is, in fact, rightfully theirs.  Anyone who says anything other than this is either a Atheist or worse an Anti-Semite. Now before anyone rushes off and calls me a Neo-Conservative,  I want to publicly state, as it does state on my “About me” page; I am not, nor will I ever be, a Neo-Conservative. I totally and emphatically reject what is known as the “Bush Doctrine” of Preemptive strikes.   However, I support that idea, that any Nation, has the right to defend itself of terrorist attacks, which is what Hamas is, A damn terrorist organization.

As expected the guy calling himself “RedPhilips” at the Conservative Heritage Times, doesn’t get it, at all:

Now Auster is at it again. He has called out Taki for his recent article on the Israel vs. Gaza conflict. While I think it is generally unwise to make Hitler and Nazi comparisons, because it is such an emotional subject and the neocons, for whom it is always 1939, do it all the time, Taki is not “comparing” Israel to the Nazis in the way that Auster implies. Taki is making a numeric comparison of the ratio of people killed on both sides.

Mr. Philips, I think you missed the point. Lewrence was not making the issue so much about the Hitler comparison.  I think he was more angered at this:

See the part in red? Taki’ essentally said that Israel didn’t belong there. That is a line that usually spouted by Anti-Semites or at worst Atheists. This, I believe, was the major issue.

While I personally think that it is quite sad that a great number of Palestinians are being killed in this conflict; I also am aware of the circumstances surrounding this conflict and I believe that Israel is very will within it’s own personal rights to defend it’s own land from terrorist attacks. I believe that the United States is doing right what they’re doing at the moment, staying out of it, but offering support. That’s all we need to do. Otherwise, we would be interfering.
