The only part I really disagreed with is, the part about a Republican style of Government. I do not believe that it was referring to the modern day Republican Party, But rather was referring to a Republic style of Government and not the actual party itself. This would be in contrast to British Monarchy or a, dare I say it? A Socialist Democracy. 😀

Sources close to the White House say Mr Obama and his staff have been “overwhelmed” by the economic meltdown and have voiced concerns that the new president is not getting enough rest.

Michael Steele should resign as Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman, according to a committee member from North Carolina.
In an e-mail to fellow RNC members obtained by The Hill, Dr. Ada Fisher, North Carolina’s national committeewoman, said Steele is “eroding confidence” in the GOP and that members of his transition team should encourage him to step aside. Fisher added Steele’s personal e-mail address to the e-mail.
“I don’t want to hear anymore [sic] language trying to be cool about the bling in the stimulus package or appealing to D.L. Hughley and blacks in a way that isn’t going to win us any votes and makes us frankly appear to many blacks as quite foolish,” Fisher wrote.
Fisher, who is one of three black members of the national committee, backed South Carolina GOP Chairman Katon Dawson, whom Steele edged out in the final round of voting to win the chairmanship in late January. She has voiced repeated opposition to Steele, sending dozens of e-mails to committee members even after Steele won election slamming him for any number of chips that have fallen awry.
I do believe that the welcome mat has just worn out for Michael Steele. I look for him to resign soon. I hate to be the one to say it, but Steele brought this on himself. When you go the “Ann Coulter”, attention whore route, you pay the price.
Most likely, he will resign, write a book, become a hero amongst the Independent Conservatives who feel that the G.O.P. does not like “Real Conservatives”. You know, like Allan Keyes? 🙄

In his first address to a joint session of Congress, President Obama declared that he was going to “speak frankly and directly.”
That’s what I want to do as well. I want to speak frankly and directly to the many people who have written to me complaining that they aren’t directly benefiting from the federal government’s efforts to resuscitate our gasping economy.
The sniveling sentiments of these people come down to one question: “What about me?”
“How come only those who spend irresponsibly get bailed out?” a reader asked. “As a person who thinks before he spends, I have a lot to be frustrated about these days.”
Another reader from Indiana wrote: “Frankly, I’m infuriated. I don’t make a ton of money, but I live within my means. I purchased my home eight years ago and just paid my mortgage off this past November. I’m a big proponent of personal responsibility. I preach it in this column, in my home, in the community, at my church and to anyone else who will stand still long enough.
We know that a lot — although not all — of the people in trouble in this economy made bad choices that ended up costing them their homes. A lot of people didn’t save when times were good. A lot of people didn’t do a lot of things they should have done that would have allowed them to better withstand this wretched downturn.

However on his show today, Keith Olbermann blew any sort of doubt that I had that he was nothing more, than a hypocritical Liberal.
What appears below is a listing of some of the most egregious, condescending, slime ball stuff that I have ever seen on Keith’s Show, on MSNBC or in a News Cast, or in this case, a Political Opinion show. This goes beyond just your typical gentle political humor or condescending political snark. This rises to the level of outright slander. If I were Jindal, I would be getting a lawyer.
In this segment you will see the following:
A sexist slam towards Sarah Palin at the very beginning.
You will see the character “Ken the page” mock white people, particularly White Conservative males.
A Caveman Reference while referring to Gov. Bobby Jindal. (Racist, or just plain mean?)
A slanderous inference that the G.O.P. is the party of white people.
A slanderous Inference that Bobby Jindal is a Homosexual and a child molester.
An Comparison of Jindal to Gomer Pyle, by a black person, an obvious racial stereotype.
An obvious insult to the intelligence of white people or Southern people in general.
An inference that males, presumably whites, in the G.O.P, are primarily interested in women’s bodies and therefore are sexist.
A direct insult to G.O.P President, Michael Steele essentially calling him stupid or at best naive.
My question to my readers of this blog is this; if the tables were turned here, Politically, Racially, and so forth; would not the Liberals be screaming from the rooftops for the head of said broadcaster? Did not Don Imus lose his job for doing something very similar to this? Only difference is that Don Imus was White and the girls insulted were Black. My question then is this, how is it that a Liberal so called “News Anchor” and a black female comedian can make these sort of remarks and not a thing happen to them? That so called Comedian, did everything but call G.O.P President Michael Steele a stupid Conservative Negro on live Television!
The reason why I am writing this is because of the following; The Democrats won. I just do not understand why there seems to be this insatiable desire to continually slander Conservatives; over and over and over. It just does not make any sense.
