LAURA INGRAHAM is off the air temporarily

Bet she comes back in a week:

NEW YORK (AP) — Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham is off the air – at least temporarily.

She said Tuesday that she’s leaving her distributor, Talk Radio Network, after more than nine years because her contract is up. Ingraham said she is in discussions with other distributors about her show, which currently airs on 325 stations nationally.

Talkers magazine says the conservative Ingraham is the most-listened to woman on radio, with an estimated 5.75 million listeners a week. Talkers said that ranks her among the top eight radio hosts overall.

In the meantime, she said she’ll keep her opinions flowing on her website, on Twitter and during Fox News Channel appearances.

Good Lord, what will Stephanie Miller make fun of now? 😉

Turkey’s might be people, but they sure do taste good!

Some hilarity from the Washington Times (!):

It is so predictable that only the amusingly named Center for Consumer Freedom, which complains about Mothers Against Drunk Driving, minimum wage, environmental protection, and human and animal welfare groups, could possibly object to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals‘ (PETA) recent efforts to promote the ever-growing vegetarian food industry and make the world a kinder place for turkeys (Inside the Beltway: “Vegetarians have a squawk,” Nov. 21).

I’ve met turkeys, and they never did anything that merited decapitation. Not harming someone or something is common decency. Being decent should be the norm. If we worry only about seeing our grandchildren grow up, we should remember PETA has a point: It’s never too late to go vegetarian.

via Turkeys are people, too – Washington Times.

I am writing this, because I just finished eating some Thanksgiving leftovers, which were better the second time around.

Turkey’s might be people too, but they sure do taste good on thanksgiving, more so when you have leftovers.

FWIW, I have yet to find a “people” or humans that taste as good as Turkey on thanksgiving. 😉

Heh

Man, the funny stuff you read over at Instapundit is amazing.

Glenn Reynolds, reacting to this story here:

He’s still got the porn mustache, too.

Ha! Laughing

Also too — comes out — in a porn related story —- Bwaaaahahahaha! Rolling on the floor

Yeah, I know, it’s 6th grade boy humor. But still, good for a Sunday morning laugh. After a week of dreck is a good change of pace.

Heh: Glad I ain’t the only one

That writes stuff like this:

The Reynolds Wrap yarmulke crowd is already yelling “drone strike!” which I find surprising because I was unaware that they had MQ-1s carrying JDAMs now*. Don’t get me wrong, a Hellfire will ruin your day, but it doesn’t knock houses off their foundation three doors down, either.

I literally chuckled and snorted aloud, when I read that.

Jazz Shaw and AllahPundit–Porn Peddlers?

Whoa! Surprise

……and here I thought AllahPundit was just a closeted homo beta male. Rolling on the floor

As for Jazzshaw…. No Comment. Dont tell anyone

But Seriously, Kevin over HillBuzz, reacts to this piece by JazzShaw saying it might not be over on November 6. For the record, I hope like heck that Jazz is wrong too Kevin. Praying

Quoting Jazz:

I suppose I should feel a little bit guilty for saying it, particularly on the pages of a politically oriented publication, but I’m pretty tired of this election. It’s been going on roughly since Christmas of 2008 – or at least it feels that way. The GOP primary was actually pretty good this year and it revved up both my interest and enthusiasm far more than the parade of munchkins on both sides four years earlier. But once it was done, the whole thing began to feel like one, long tedious slog through the summer and an exhausting swamp march to just get it all over with.

I felt that way in 2008, and a bit like that this time too. Although, it seemed a bit less lengthy this time around. More substance and less, well…. Parade?

Either way, it is the 28’th of October. We have nine days to go. Hopefully, things become a bit smoother, Romney wins by a huge margin and everything; outside of the left’s usual losing sorely —- gets back to some sort of normalcy. There are reports of people threatening to go ape-poop, if Obama loses. However, the realist in me, suspects that nothing is going to happen, people will vote and accept the results.

I just hope I am right about that “accepting the results” part. NailbitingWorriedPraying

The obligatory Obama creepy voting ad and it’s hilarious parodies posting

Okay, to set this up, the Obama campaign cuts this really creepy ad for first time voting, starring someone named Lena Dunham. I swear to all of you, that before this thing came out, I had never heard of this young Lady at all.

Anyhow, here is the original ad:

Well, needless to say, the right has been like really whacked out over the ad, and I have seen it and yes, it is a bit….um, Odd? Anyhow, needless the say, the parodies have been funny.

The first one, is by Steven Crowder, which is a bit funny; but he does kind of sound like a homo in this video. It’s a good thing he is married or I would assume he was, based upon the video:

The second one, is even funnier, because it actually has a young Lady doing the part; and she touches on some stuff that we libertarian-minded conservatives know as well:

(H/T Chicks on the Right)

Video: “Americans” by Kid Rock

How in the world did I ever miss this? This is very good, the language in it is a bit dicey. So, consider this your content warning. Yes, it has Sean Penn in it; but the message is very good. Especially the one about Afghan War. There are some hilarious scenes in it too, I won’t give anything away, but Conservatives and Liberals can laugh about this one. I am shocked that AllahPundit over at HotAir.com has not posted this.

Enjoy the video.
