Goldberg tells Hannity: Nice try, but No.

I love this sort of stuff: (H/T Media Matters)

Heh… It’s pretty bad when someone like GoldBerg has to talk a screechy far right winger like Hannity off the ledge. FWIW, that douche nozzle Hannity, calls himself a Libertarian. He’s about as much as a Libertarian, as I am a Communist. In other words, he’s nothing more than a idiot Wilsonian, Neo-Conservative. All he is, all he’ll ever be. No real Libertarian that I know supports an interventionalist  foreign policy or cheer leads Bush.

The painfully and quite cynically obligatory Anti-Tea Party posting

This is why I do not go to protests. Because I happen to think that they’re pointless. I mean, seriously, what do they change? Nothing. The Obama Administration is going to do what the hell they want to do. My point is, why bother? Anyhow, Some Conservatives and liberals held protests.  A liberal blogger got caught on video saying that the tea parties are financed by Fox News, Conservative Bloggers snickered and she responded; personally, I don’t believe Fox is financing anything, but rather more like cashing in on populist outrage. Mainly because it is something, anything, that is Anti-Barack Obama. Because he’s like this Muslim Terrorist Liberal President that they hate with the flames of fire, mainly because he is black a Liberal.

So, as you can see, my Give-a-fuck meter is like at zero. When it comes to this stuff.

Although, I will say this, I happen to think that Jane Hamsher is quite hot, and I will most likely be having fantasies about have hot, nasty sex with her for a few weeks now. I don’t give a rip if she is a liberal; I’m sorry, I’d hurt that, badly. In fact, when I got done with her, she’d be walking funny and would have white stuff running out of her nose and would be saying “FireDogWhat?” 😉 😛 😀

If Sean Hannity's Show fails it will be because of stuff like this….

As some of you know, I have begun to watch Fox News, after all I am a right-leaning Blog after all. It is a refreshing break from the “In the Tank” Liberal Media of MSNBC and to an extent, CNN. I find most of the players over there tolerable. However, Sean Hannity is another story.

A perfect example:

HANNITY: You know, I’m going to — I resent this. When you consider…all we have done just in the last century alone to save Europe from themselves. I resent this. I think it’s outrageous, the media’s ignored it. But don’t you think this is like the Dixie Chicks? […]

HANNITY: But didn’t we see all of this in the campaign? As I was bringing up — didn’t Reverend Wright give us a little insight into his thought process? Didn’t, you know, Michelle Obama, America is a downright mean country. … But I’m thinking, didn’t we get some insight? When you sit on a board and give speeches with Bill Ayers, didn’t this — Do you think he harbors deep resentment that he just hides? Because I believe he does.

via Think Progress » Hannity: Obama ‘Harbors Deep Resentment’ Of America, Just Like Dixie Chicks.

You can go see the video over at the “Think Progress” site, I have no interest in embedding that fools nonsense on my site. The problem with Sean Hannity is this; Sean Hannity is still repeating the same dead tired talking points of the last President Administration and he is also still reciting the talking points of the McCain Presidential campaign. Earth to Hannity: The Campaign is over, McCain lost, your hero Bush is out of office, you can stop carrying water anytime you like.

The real kicker in all this is the following. Sean Hannity calls himself a Libertarian. Seriously. Sean Hannity is about as much as a Libertarian, as I am a sworn Communist. This idiot sits and defends the Iraq War and how necessary that it was to the security of America and so on. In case anyone does not know, that is the line of the Wilsonian, Neo-Conservatives. The Libertarian Party has never, ever, been pro-war at all. I just wonder, does the Libertarian Party know that Sean Hannity is identifying himself as a member of that Party? Sean Hannity is nothing more than a Wilsonian, Neo-Conservative Republican. No libertarian, that I know spouts those talking points, none of them.

I said back when Alan Colmes left that show; that it would never last and if Sean Hannity continues doing what he is doing now. He very may well end up without a job. It is one thing to criticize the President’s policies, it is another when that criticism rises the level of slander. Which is what Sean Hannity is doing. It is one thing to criticize the President with facts, but it is another to using long discarded talking points of the Pre-Obama Presidency Republican Party and of the McCain campaign.

The very strange and almost twilight zone aspect of the whole thing is, I find Bill O’Reilly totally tolerable. Which is quite strange considering before the Presidency of Obama. I could not bear to watch him. Bill does seem to have toned his show down a bit. He doesn’t cut the mics off anymore, he allows the “Other Side” as he calls them, to voice their opinions and views. Which I think is so much more professional. Which leads to me to wonder why Keith Olbermann continually attacks him. I believe it’s because Keith is still bitter at Fox News because of his firing, due to his behavior at the network.

Now if Fox could get Sean to be more like O’Reilly, I’d be more inclined to watch.

Fox News Busts Myth on Guns to Mexico

You know, there are times, when I tend to dislike Fox News because of their Anti-Union Bias, and I’ve been known to tell them what I thought about it too. This is not on of those times. For once, Fox News has done something to put them in my good graces. (Mark your calendars this does NOT happen often!)

You’ve heard this shocking “fact” before — on TV and radio, in newspapers, on the Internet and from the highest politicians in the land: 90 percent of the weapons used to commit crimes in Mexico come from the United States.

— Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said it to reporters on a flight to Mexico City.

— CBS newsman Bob Schieffer referred to it while interviewing President Obama.

— California Sen. Dianne Feinstein said at a Senate hearing: “It is unacceptable to have 90 percent of the guns that are picked up in Mexico and used to shoot judges, police officers and mayors … come from the United States.”

— William Hoover, assistant director for field operations at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, testified in the House of Representatives that “there is more than enough evidence to indicate that over 90 percent of the firearms that have either been recovered in, or interdicted in transport to Mexico, originated from various sources within the United States.”

There’s just one problem with the 90 percent “statistic” and it’s a big one:

It’s just not true.

In fact, it’s not even close. By all accounts, it’s probably around 17 percent.

via The Myth of 90 Percent: Only a Small Fraction of Guns in Mexico Come From U.S. — FOXNews.com.

I knew something stunk to the high heavens on that story that was being told. Good on Fox News for reporting the truth on this story. 😀

Memo to Fox News: Kiss my Detroit Ass!

Oy. I swear, no wonder Fox News’s ratings are in the damned toilet.

In forcing the resignation of General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner, President Obama said he was seeking a fresh start, a “new vision and new direction,” for the beleaguered automaker.

But some critics are questioning why the president of the United Auto Workers union didn’t meet the same fate, to signal a fresh start on the other side of the bargaining table.

Even though UAW President Ron Gettelfinger argues that his workers have made significant concessions in recent years, critics say Gettelfinger should have gone the way of Wagoner — whose ouster could be seen as the final judgment for GM’s pursuit of gas-guzzling SUVs at a time when foreign manufacturers were winning over their customers with fuel-efficient cars.

“Every bad thing you can think a union can do, the United Auto Workers did,” said Kevin Hassett, the director of Economic Policy Studies at the American Enterprise Institute.

Hassett said Gettelfinger presided over negotiations that kept the auto giant burdened with costly benefits programs and protected higher-paid, long-term employees from the cutbacks set in place for new workers.

On the behalf of my 63 year old Father, who is a Retired General Motors worker. Kiss my Fat White Detroit Union ASS!

No the damned head of the U.A.W. should have not met the damn same fate as the automaker head. He did not cause the problems at General Motors. The Management did; and I don’t wanna hear all that stupid god damned anti-union horse shit either.

So, Fox News… Please, Go fuck yourselves!

Bill O’Reilly and his Producer are so asking for it.

For this dumb bullcrap right here:

I expect O’Reilly to air this “interview” at some point this week, possibly as early as tonight. I have no expectation that he will show the entire altercation or give the entire story about what happened, so here is the full account, offering a glimpse inside the O’Reilly harrassment machine:

– The Stalking: Watters and his camera man accosted me at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, in Winchester, VA, which is a two-hour drive from Washington, DC. My friend and I were in this small town for a short weekend vacation and had told no one about where we were going. I can only infer that the two men staked out my apartment and then followed me for two hours. Looking back, my friend and I remember seeing their tan SUV following us for much of the trip.

– The Ambush: Shortly after checking into our lodgings, we emerged and immediately saw two men walking toward us calling out my name. Watters said he was from Fox News, but never said his or his companion’s name, nor did he say he was with The O’Reilly Factor.

– The Surprise Attack: Watters immediately began asking me why I was causing “pain and suffering” to the Alexa Foundation. He never gave me the context for his questions. Confused, I repeatedly asked him what he was talking about and whether he could refresh my memory, but he just continued shouting his question.

– The Evasion: I said that it was inappropriate for O’Reilly to imply that just because a woman may be drunk and/or dressed in a certain way, she should expect to be raped. Watters asked me whether I had listened to the interview (which I had) and claimed that O’Reilly had made the comments in the context of a commentary on Mel Gibson/drunkenness. When I tried to ascertain why he was attacking ThinkProgress in particular — even though other sites had also covered the story — he said that we were part of the “smear pipeline,” which also included the “Soros-funded” Media Matters. He ignored my comments when I asked if Fox News also smears people.

– Setting A Guilt Trap: Watters ended the charade by demanding that I look into the camera and apologize to the Alexa Foundation and rape victims. I told them that I don’t speak through Fox News and if someone from the Alexa Foundation would like to personally call me, I’d be happy to speak with that person.

– More Stalking: The camera man then continued to film me as I walked down the block. After a few minutes while I waited at the light to cross the street, Watters called him back and they left.

Bill, you need to stop the crap, before your producer ends up dead. You claim to be some sort of media professional, and you do this sort of a thing. You’re nothing more than an idiot media heck. No damn wonder you were FIRED from inside edition.

Because next time someone shows up at his house, it might not be with just signs.

An Interesting Movie

I post this because I believe that it is interesting. Alex Jones has always struck me as a kook. Someone amongst the “Tin Foil Hat” crowd. However, it is something interesting to watch.

Enjoy…

What do you think? Do you think that there is any truth to this?
